    I’m South African, moved to the US 5 years ago. And Ashely is always on point when it comes to differences between the countries. The big one is the quality of life , having lived in both countries I can say South Africa has better quality of life than USA. USA has better currency but it’s a very individualistic country living many in depressive state. Even if you’re not suffering from depression yourself but you can definitely breath it in the air through people’s energies 😂. And when it comes to gun violence, you’re not safe in schools, malls , churches, concerts etc😢 whereas in South Africa it’s rare for students to shoot up schools, so kids are safe in schools. I’m honestly stuck here because of money , nothing else that SA cannot offer.

      Sisi I’m so sorry to hear that you feel stuck. We are sharing love with you and I pray that you continue to share the message of the true America so that other Africans can be weary of moving to that side for a “better life.” Thank you so much for you support and your comment. ❤️

    It shouldn't be that hard to learn Zulu because swahilli and Zulu they hv similar words though we don't say them the same way but after a Swahili has said something I can tune my mind and mostly I can figure out what they were trying to say.

      True: Nearly when someone say he or she I am hungry or I don't have food.Me in Isindebele " I say angina ughudla" and in Swahili its nearly the same "Ukunatshaguja" please forgive me for not spelling it correctly in Swahili.
      Thank you Ashley for giving all black people around the world the correct nature of living in our Sunny South Africa. You are always on point.

    another easier way of learning the languages is TV. Our TV stations from 18h00 until 22h00 show shows in different languages with subtitles.

    One thing about black kids that grow up in Joburg, they are ALL multilingual!!! So your kids will learn. I grew up in Durban and one thing I resent about that is the fact that I’m only a Zulu and English speaker. Kids that grow up in Joburg speak at least 3 African languages( excluding English)

    You ace this again, you do such great work, it's like reading a book that you can't get enough of; I'm waiting for the next chapter. I found a lovely apartment in Sandton, moving by May (I hope) my next step is to find a school that teaches Zulu.

    I have seen quite a few videos from African-Americans/American born Africans living in South Africa but rarely see any around that actually live in South Africa... It would definitely be easier to be there as an expat if there were people who could relate to moving to another country around you...

    I think a thorough DNA of African Americans need to be done intensively. Lol. Most US generations born Black Americans do look like us here in the Southern Africa. There are striking resemblances. We do have distinctive features between Southies, Easterners, Westernias and especially central and North Africa. Majority in Southern Africa are Bantu genes with mix of oldest gene on earth of the Khoisan people.
    Along the times of slavery, the Bantu tribes were also migrating running aways from mistreatment, wars and slavery.

    • @baphithi
      @baphithi ปีที่แล้ว

      We are the same people. We just happen to be the ones that managed to escape to the south before the “Mohammedans” of the time got to our ancestors.

    • @thewordsmith5440
      @thewordsmith5440 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Very few black Americans came from South Africa like only 100 or so. We have a small amount of Malagasy ancestry who settled in Virginia and Boston so we might have Austronesian/Indonesian DNA. We also may have ancestry from Tanzanian but most of our ancestry comes from Congo-Angola and mainly West Africa and some ancestry from Zambia.

    • @zusibone
      @zusibone ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@thewordsmith5440 you do know what I'm mentioning here is pre slavery and colonization. I'm talking centuries before slavery. Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Southerners are all one people though. Bantu People.

    how would I find land in africa to buy? how are the taxes there collected? who would I need to talk to? how much is 10K there? would it be lower in value there? why do ppl from there come here to US? while we want to go there? my homie wants to go there but me, I'd like to know who to even talk to to get any land? a home? water? light bill? I can't go to realtor or zillow and find land in africa lol while being in the US. I honestly don't see the difference other than the programming, US is more corrupt when it comes to the system and what they promote here but thats MY viewpoint. Other ppl may disagree. If I go there will it be the opposite? I hope! If I can get links and my questions answered I wouldn't mind moving there long as I have my own spot , land , grow my food and just be free. Is the work field the same? still gotta do 9 to 5?
