    They turned out beautifully! I love Moulds and Shapes moulds, they are worth every Penny!

      Absolutely. Cheap moulds are great fun and good for short usage. But - professional quality moulds like Molds and Shapes are the way to go for really lastig and beautiful to use work

    Putting a black on for last coat would really make these pop! They do look pretty as is too!

      worth a try yes, though ti wouldn't show through as they are opaque so I'm not sure. Certainly worth a try :)

      Thank you! 😊 Yeh it is, that wasn't cheap stuff either. While the video was on premiere the team from Just4YouOnline were in live chat with us and were surprised too. They have committed to re- releasing their rose gold crushed glass for us to try - I am expecting it to be much better so I'll keep you all posted.

    These turned out beautifully! On my screen the rose gold looks yellow gold, and I think the "bleaching" effect might have come from the chemicals and heat changing the properties of the dye and maybe even the glass itself. All-in-all, I really love these!

      Oh thank you! Yeh to the naked eye it looks like silver but on camera yes pale gold. Yes probably some fort of bleaching. J4Y team ere in chat as all the other materials I was usuing were theirs, they too were surprised at this other brand of crushed glass and are now planning to launch one - I will report back when they do _ I fully expect theirs to be massively better

      Thanks and yes it is. It wasn't cheap glass either. In the live chat on the premiere of this video just now, J4U were in chat and have committed to re releasing their rose gold glass and sending me some to test so watch this space. I am expecting it to be far better than the one I sued in this video in terms of colourfastness ( if that's a word!)

      Not sure what I was expecting to be honest, i don't think I was expecting the little cell effect maybe. It was a total experiment for me. The crushed glass, I agree, though it was odd and annoying that it changed, the colour it ended up did work nicely anyway :) It did end up quite marble like so overall, yeh I was very happy :)

      Hi Barb, thanks. The ladies from J4U were in live chat for this premier and have committed to re-releasing their rose gold crushed glass and will be sending me some to test. . The one I used here wasnt cheap so it's a shame. But I am expecting J4U 's one to be much higher quality so I will probably re-enact this video using their version when it's out, so watch this space

      Thanks. I do want to try those effects as i like to learn everything but yes, it's become overload. Tea and Art's recent ones have been the best I've seen - and she's just done a few exceptional ones, so it's not overload. She's not a "one trick pony" is she :) I like to master techniques so I can say I can basically do them. I might revisit Daniel Cooper technique Perti swirls soon as I have jewellery orders to fill

      These effects are amazing and of course everyone wants to achieve them.
      There is s paid course out there from a very humbled person who has a crazy mind for resin and it's effects. I do understand that she wants to protect her effects.

    Tracey, these are gorgeous and really do have that marble effect, in my opinion. Just awesome! I do have a question though, I noticed there is an orange peel/roughness to the surface look. Is that just the silver giving an optical effect?

      Thanks and yes, Very odd. I'll follow this video up as Just4YouOnline are planning to release a rose gold one soon and I fully expect that to be a huge improvement on the brand I used here. I'll get some and test it on video

    I’ve got a few moulds from molds and shapes there beautiful but just be careful with them don’t stack them on top of each other because they mark very easily xx

      Good question! I guess it wasn't as well coloured as I hoped. Good news is Just4YouOnline were in live chat for this videos premiere and they have committed to re- releasing their rose gold - I am sure that will be colour fast

    Do you use mold release? I've heard it helps protect the shine and prolonge the life of molds

      when I remember yes lol. Also when I clean a mould after ready to use again I do give it a wipe over with silicone lubricant

    On tv this looks gold, not the silver you’re saying. They are beautiful but if that had been a commission and they wanted the rose gold I would have been disappointed x

      Agreed, it depends on the light. now I see it on screen it loos like pale gold, but to the naked eye, silver. Very odd. The team from Just4YouOnline were in live chat on the premiere of this video and saw what happened with the brand I used here. They have committed to re-releasing their rose gold chips, so once i have some to test, I'll replicate this video using their version, see what happens then. if it HAD been a commission - yes I would have had to do another set, you're absolutely right

      Was meant to be rose gold - ended up as a very pale silvery gold.I still liked it though
