Though thankful ako sa 3yrs exp ko sa BPO. 2021: Magiging tatay na ako and I think to myself na gusto ko maging stable yung income and on the other hand dapat align sa career path ko, so I resigned and nagbakasakali sa first love ko talga which is itong Programming. I took the courage para mag-apply and I think 5 companies yung napagapplyan ko, 3 of them is actively searching. 1 rejected me, then there's 2 remaining. 1st company has a lot of process for application, 2nd one interview and no need na mag-tehcnical tests, etc. So I decline yung 1st company and proceed sa 2nd which I will be part of a bootcamp (ang catch is merong Bond for yrs). Now working as a data engr. here in i.t park. for 10 months na. tip is learn the fundamentals, create mini project, join linkedin, and learn by doing it. hindi mo kailangan aralin lahat while finding a job. kasi doon sa work mona mismo mapag aaralan yan at mag go grow.
Kung ako sayo mag startup ka, iconvert mo yong passion mo into business, mas mamarami kang matutunan kasi mas malaya kang makakapag aral in a sustainable way, at mas nakaka proud mag karoon ng sariling company compare sa mag work sa ibang company.
kainggit. I started programming in 2013. tas nag tuloy tuloy yun hanggang 2016. sobrang hirap nang resources during that time. 2018 I learned php framework, laravel. Pero that time din di ko na practice.

create projects siguro, not only may mapapakita kang proof na kaya mo but also practice mo yon para sa skill mo. hindi naman lahat ng companies nag rerely sa experience. also, practice data structure and algorithms for technical assessments. based on my experience kasi ganun madalas assessment nila pag nagapply ka and madalas sila nagpapasagot sa hackerrank
I'm a first year computer science student in Mapúa University. Have you ever struggled to understand the logic when solving problems? Like using for loops to make a mirrored isosceles triangle or converting military time to standard time...? I kind of struggled in understanding the logic, but I'm alright with the syntax. Do you think that I'm not fit for the course....? Is this just normal...? It's funny that I find doing Calculus problems more or a breeze than immediately making a program about problems one can't easily find the logic in... Is that bad for a starting person like me...?
Yep, i've been there. Logic is improving through tackling various problems and practice. You're a freshman, youre just getting started, you have plenty if not too much of time to practice. Just dont compare yourself to others, focus on improving your skill

Im currently a 2nd year ComEng student, gusto ko lang itanong kasi in 2nd semester, we're gonna have a software Design subject, and I was wondering if I should study web dev basic like html, css and Js or focus on OOP because I recently found out a senior student syllabus for this subject where it says na "Software Design subject is to develop understanding of writing object-oriented programs that combine functions and data". So Do i need to go back learrning OOP, or study data bases like SQL, or learn web dev basics such as html, css, and Js ? Thankyou
just learn what you should be learning first. sa case mo i think OOP? prioritize mo muna yon saka mo aralin yung iba. lahat naman ng yan magagamit mo sa future and pagaaralan mo naman pero since subject niyo nyan is OOP so yun muna. basta make sure na absorb as much information at aralin mo yun ng mabuti para di ka mahirapan sa javascript

@@louie576 since nasabi na ni @Reaper-bits yung difference ng dalawa nasa sayo na yon kung saan ka mas magiging komportable. but to give you my recommendation and honest opinion, mas ok na computer engineering na i pursue mo. mas malawak kasi ang CpE. ibig sabihin mas madami kang career choices lalo na kung undecided ka ngayon pero still need mo i consider yung mga subjects sa CpE. lalo na it is engineering expect mo math jan. pero basta tingin mo kaya mo. CpE para sakin.
//3rd yr CS here Computer Science focuses heavily on theory and mathematics. Then applying these by using different programming languages depende sa year level and subjects being taken. Yung hands-on dito naka focus more on sa ideas, actual coding, analyzing algorithms. Siyempre kasama na dito yung understanding assembly as well as disrete mathematics. Computer Engineering, take note na similar din sila, but CompEng focuses on fundamental Engineering concepts, Calculus, tsaka yung hands-on dito requires both Software and Hardware. Information Technology, similar to CS, but does not focus on theory and mathematics. IT also includes programming, actual coding, algorithms, but the key difference is it gives early exposure to students about technologies being used today. Software Engineering, similar to IT, but again, applies and focuses on fundamental Engineering concepts, Calculus, tsaka yung hands-on dito focuses on both Software and Hardware. Comfort kills dreams. Fuck around and find out kung ano talaga trip mo. Maging uhaw sa kaalaman.

@@heremyas That's also the reason why I am thankful for videos like this po 'cause there are times I wanna give up but there's still inside of me still hoping and I don't want to spend my life with "what if tinuloy ko pala? Kaya ko pala?" that's why I am on my last card actually, I tried numerous resources but this time I got myself a coding tutor so that if there is another time that "I want to give up" I know to myself that I did try everything before anything else. Thank you!
HAHAHA

I graduated way back 2018. Dahil sa urge na makahanap ng work agad at kumita ng pera (financially unstable family namin that time) pinasok ko na yung work na kahit di related sa natapos ko. Fast forward, naging smooth yung experience ko with my current company.

May job nakayo?
God bless you sir, python parin ng python kahit na di sure as senior High school student
I started 2010, but until now jobless parin
Graduated yr 2019, and my goal that time ay mag ka work na mona, kahit hindi i.t related and i worked in microfinance then pandemic outbreak, then bumalik sa pag aaral ulit ng mga tech, practiced and nakapasok ako as an intern software engineer. remotely for 3 months and after non i applied for a regular position it was my first job in i.t industry, i worked there for around 2 yrs and naisipan kung lumipat in cebu to work onsite naman.
Wala akong background sa programming, but I'm very interested to learn. I'm starting to learn Python from TH-cam and so far na enjoy ko siya.
nakaka inspire yong mga sinabi mo I'm just started to code kahit medyo may edad nko parang nakakatuwa ksi pag naaayos ko yong isang program
Grind lang boss, the industry is still very wide kudos!
Mag te thesis na kami this year and na motivate Ako na mag grind after watching this video.
Kung ako sayo mag startup ka, iconvert mo yong passion mo into business, mas mamarami kang matutunan kasi mas malaya kang makakapag aral in a sustainable way, at mas nakaka proud mag karoon ng sariling company compare sa mag work sa ibang company.

kainggit. I started programming in 2013. tas nag tuloy tuloy yun hanggang 2016. sobrang hirap nang resources during that time. 2018 I learned php framework, laravel. Pero that time din di ko na practice.
Hi kuys, May work kaparin Ngayon?

I've been in working sa corporate but I never had opportunity to learn coding. I am able to read programs but I must know the fundamentals talaga. I will be going over your videos tutal tagalog madali maintindihan pa.. I see a lot dito pero Indians and its hard to understand for me.

any advice dyan sa mga veteran/senior devs?. yung concern ko lang is okay lang ba na mag pursue ng isang field which is i like and that is front end developer. kase base sa video he even take the cybersecurity and its boring which is play safe naman yung ginawa nya for him to get some experience pero ako is it okay ba na e reject yung offer if hindi front end kasi gusto ko talaga yung front end field or just take the opportunity nalang kahit hindi front end for me to get experience(which is i dont like). btw im still college student(4th year graduating)

create projects siguro, not only may mapapakita kang proof na kaya mo but also practice mo yon para sa skill mo. hindi naman lahat ng companies nag rerely sa experience. also, practice data structure and algorithms for technical assessments. based on my experience kasi ganun madalas assessment nila pag nagapply ka and madalas sila nagpapasagot sa hackerrank

@@heremyas Familiar nadin kasi po Ako sa OOP, and naaral kopo siya through Java language, so nagbabakasali Ako na siguro kaya Kona tumuloy sa mga web dev basics and after that po, balak ko I tackle Yung Java servet, and JDBC with MySQL para makapag start Nako sa mga CRUD APP, what do you think po?
Di po sa pagmamadali pero I think Naman po na confident Nako mag advance since I already study DSA 🥹

3rd year ko
but to give you my recommendation and honest opinion, mas ok na computer engineering na i pursue mo.
mas malawak kasi ang CpE. ibig sabihin mas madami kang career choices lalo na kung undecided ka ngayon pero still need mo i consider yung mga subjects sa CpE. lalo na it is engineering expect mo math jan. pero basta tingin mo kaya mo. CpE para sakin.
//3rd yr CS here
Computer Science focuses heavily on theory and mathematics.
