    The car really needed a wash! And in your hands, the result was, as usual, top notch.

      Thank you very much!
      Really came up well (apart from the exhausts)

    Nice job Nick! I had a Porsche like this one in Seal Gray…brings back memories. The hardest part of the wash on these (for me) was the drying. So many spots that hold water on these older Porsches. I invested in a battery leaf blower to get everything dry and to reduce the water spots. Cheers!

      @HarpersCarDetailing  16 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      It’s the same with all cars!
      Ideally a blower would help remove the loose water 👍🏼

    Hi Nick,i don't remember if i tell you but first thing,HAPPY NEW YEAR TO you and your family! Second thing,super job on that 997 Porsche, great turnover,and third thing, i don't know if you try labocosmetica cronos for the exhausts,but it helps me very much for this tasks. Great video,thank you.👍👍

      I have used Cronos before and really liked it! It wouldn’t have done anything to these tips though. I think they were too far gone!

    Another great video Mr harper.
    I am a weekend warrior detailing my car. Last autumn my brakes sized up the mechanic said it was because I used a pressure washer on the wheels which I did from a distance.
    He said it caused corrosion and not to use it on the wheels again any thoughts? Cheers thanks 😊

    • @HarpersCarDetailing
      @HarpersCarDetailing  15 วันที่ผ่านมา +3

      Thank you very much, Simon.
      In the last 15 years and probably around 10,000 cars so 40,000 wheels I have never heard of a break seizing up because of the use of a pressure washer, so I should probably suggest firing your mechanic 😂

    Great video, car looks great, I was surprised to see you using Chemical Guys Water Spot Remover, I used this product on my wife’s Mercedes, the black anodised trim around the glass became matt due to the product scorching the gloss, then I noticed the product contains sulphuric acid……is there a trick to using this product?

    • @HarpersCarDetailing
      @HarpersCarDetailing  15 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      It’s an acid based water spot remover.
      The trims are so delicate on Mercedes. You’ll need to hand polish them to bring them back to gloss. I’m guessing they were chemically damaged in the first place?

      @@HarpersCarDetailing Hi Nick, thanks for replying, the Merc has the night pack, brand new from the dealer decided to use the water spot remover on the glass, and trim to the windows got smudged with the water spot remover, went back to the car a short while later and noticed the trim had turned matt 😢…..thanks for the tip I will try the hand polishing, I to love Bilt hamber products……its very obvious to see Nick you love your work…..all your cars are fabulous

    What a transformation, owner would barely recognise the car I would think. Around this time of year I start to worry about frost getting to products left in the garage. I guess most people are in the same situation and even worse for you mobile guys with product left in vans over night, any thoughts on this?. Thanks

      I wouldn’t worry about it. My products are in the garage too, and have had no issue.
      When it’s below freezing I will take equipment inside to prevent freezing

    I know your in UK 🇬🇧 but you sure do get a lot of dirty luxury cars that haven’t been touched in a long time. That’s blows my mind that they don’t have there car detailed weekly or every 2 weeks regardless of the car if it a luxury car or a everyday car.
    The paint is porous and the thickness of the paint is so thin compared to 1990’s Mercedes paint thickness for example.
    And everything else of a modern day vehicle.
    brilliant video, great work and for a car that looked like it hadn’t been touched in months.👍👋🫶
