I thought about doing a beeswax/pine tar/linseed oil mix. I might try that in the future, maybe do some smaller batches and figure out a good mix. Maybe even actually measure things so when I get a product I like, I can duplicate it, instead of just guessing again the next time.

Pre-made treatments are mad expensive. DIY is king. I ended up doing pine tar but it is a pain to apply versus this without thinning it.
