I dont think your cousin avoids you because you look foreign but because of age gap.Your cousin choose your sister to talk because she is near her age. I got alot of cousin and I observe that alot of them group themselves base on age and the young ones seems afraid or shy to us who is older than them.They just afraid or shy to make mistakes or being disrespectful towards the older generations.I have around 40 cousin and I observe that alot during Clan reunions.
