my iphone just broke today and I already had a dumb phone backup, so I'm just not gonna get another phone. just gonna stick with this dumb phone and see how long i stick with it for. i know living without maps is going to be difficult but i am moving to chicago soon and i know my way around chicago pretty well. at least to and from the places i need to get to. and of course I can always write down the instructions in advance
The only thing I will miss and partly the reason I ever had one to start with is the convenient camera, slim digital cameras are a crazy price likes £300 for a basic one the cannon g7 ii is like £700. I've tried cheaper ones and they are worse than my galaxy.

I've never really owned a smartphone for an extended period of time (can't keep from breaking the damn things) but the times I did have one I was miserable. Constantly burdened with stupid crap that I normally leave at my computer desk. I went back to my Nokia 3390b (the original 3310s american counterpart) and I'm never looking at smartphones as a viable option again. If they phase feature phones out entirely I'm just going landline only.
Where is he now? Why he hasn't posted in a year?
Do you remember the days when instead of having google maps people just had these things... called maps?
In my country ppl would probably think you're a mobster if they see a phone like that on you
Why do I love how goofy it looks
I was forged with those phones, and yes we texted in groups mid convo on that dial pad
I got very good texting with those type of keys back in tge day
Switched from a OnePlusNord2 to a Samsung guru 1200 ( DUMB PHONE ) yesterday. Gonna try and stick to it for the next 2 and a half years. Essentially, i was wasting too much time on my phone so yea..gonna use my laptop for Instagram and TH-cam now
I bought a basic flip phone because all of my smart phone are in pawn. It broke me but i don't have any other choice but to pawned it.
Dude, you gotta cut down on the coffee! I texted successfully on all my old Nokias
Your personality is so attractive like damn. I came here to see if i wanna actually downgrade to a dumb phone and I ended up staying for your personality.
I agree! Love your channel❤️
This is one review video which I really, really liked. just somehow i dunno..
I am 25 and I’m like, I am too old…I grew up using a non colored screen phone and now they call them dumb phones
My biggest thing is maps. I want to switch to a dumb phone so bad but I literally use google maps on a daily basis to get to new places I have never been to before. I know you said you just memorized it but like I live in an extremely big and busy city so there is just no way I can memorize a route like what you mentioned.
Blackberry
my iphone just broke today and I already had a dumb phone backup, so I'm just not gonna get another phone. just gonna stick with this dumb phone and see how long i stick with it for. i know living without maps is going to be difficult but i am moving to chicago soon and i know my way around chicago pretty well. at least to and from the places i need to get to. and of course I can always write down the instructions in advance
Nice review bro. Do you still use it? It's kinda inconvenient when using today
The only thing I will miss and partly the reason I ever had one to start with is the convenient camera, slim digital cameras are a crazy price likes £300 for a basic one the cannon g7 ii is like £700. I've tried cheaper ones and they are worse than my galaxy.
Just get a physical camera!
@@diyabahukhandi6632 I want convenience to capture spontaneous moments, it has to be small, and if you are thinking I'm going to get some old fashioned thing that uses film, that's out of the question as no one prints them any more where I live.
@@audibleadventures9004 they make small digital cameras like a canon powershot 360 u use a usb to connect it to your laptop then transfer the photos from there
Thanks for posting. I relate to this a lot.
I had one of those original ones…omg i wanted to buy that but they shutdown 3g last year I read so bummer
I have nokia 3310 i love it
pro:s more effective
cons: breaks after 100 slams😂
Point proven
The memorising maps thing is a good point. I swear my memories got a lot worse since sat nav
Everyone has the same dumb phone as me. Thanks for choosing Finnish Nokia.
Get one with KaiOs for maps and shit
You can go get a KAI OS phone which add maps and essential apps to the dumb phone. its a sweet spot.
I love my 3310. Life is so much better again
does the battery still go long?
I Have never Had a Smartphone that I Paid to Use as a Phone , I have a collection of them and I can use one on Wifi but have never paid to run one as I have a Landline and a Dumbfone :) QC
im a text ninja ,,, no t9 no prediction just thumbs faster than light
having a laptop defeats the object
texting with t9 is not really bad.
This needs a hotspot
i love this idea i kinda wanna go and join but at the same time wouldnt it be just as good if just treat my smart phone like a dumb phone 🤔 like i might have all the possibility and all those app but im not really interested in scrolling on instagram and tbh if im gonna waste time i can waste it on my laptop too
i recently got a flip phone & i just gotta say 1000% worth it !!!! let’s normalize dumb phones !!!!
WHY DOES EVERYONE CALL CELL PHONES "DUMB PHONES" LIKE THATS JUST PHONE-IST
you can text people with this phone.. the t1 easy typing is extremly good
in my junior school i used to use this phone mainly for texting. that's make me a cool kid even in 2017😎
could always buy a GPS for Maps.
I m giving up on my smartphone.
Solid dude, good move
Dumb phone + usb tablet keyboard = 💥
Oh you got the blue one too!!
You’re so right.
Hello!! I had purchased a model that did not read the sd card !! have you tried to insert it? Is there anything special to set up?
Great video!
I'm switching to a dumb phone today. Bought a Trac phone. Turned off my s22 ultra today for 4 hours. It was like going through drug withdrawal. They made it this way, so we spend all day and night on it. We were not spent to live this way. Take the red pill.
Also if you text on a 10 key pad enough you can master it. takes 1 minute or less to punch out a paragraph when you really get to it
