This works fine EXCEPT when outdoor temps get over about 100 degrees Fahrenheit (not sure of the exact temp). Then the stuff gets soft and gooey even if it's been on there for a while. So for small fixes, small patches like the ones in the video, we found Permatex Silicone RTV black adhesive sealant to be much better. It will stay flexible but does not soften or get gooey when it's hot outside.

I have small tear in my mustang convertible is the permatex will solve the problem?
