Man I got berated for running muddy dragon and albion the branded dragon just so I can bring out dark dragoon in my white forest deck, the combo ain't my idea but I still don't see how it's bad given how it cost very little from me.
Neither of you listen to the naysayers, the game needs more people exploring jank stuff that people don't think enough about. y'all are the real pioneers

Can you make it to Diamond or Masters with this deck I have been trying to make a deck similar to this work but I always get stuck in Platinum and im a lot more hand trap heavy and less combo heavy and im thinking its stopping me from comboing off
Semi new player here (started in october, but only play master duel occasionally. No prior experience with card games). ... why do you have Dragoon in the extra deck? I didnt see any cards that become Dark Magician, unless there was a card I missed that takes control of an opponents monster. This is probably gonna be the second deck I'm gonna try to build. (Third if you count the dark magician structure deck I started with) Honestly the first deck isn't quite done, but idc anymore... was doing Live Twins, going for the alt art cards... still missing Lilla...pain...(somehow got 8 of the evil twins combined monster card)... but randomly got a witchcrafter card and thought it was cute. Crafted the basic witchcrafter cards so far, but dont have enough UR dust for white forest yet. Seems pretty fun. Though still stuck at the bottom of gold... since I can't seem to play through more than 1 negate, also I'm completely stopped by turn 1 dragoon unless I get lucky and manage to bait the negate. Since the only routes I see are: 1) Bait the negate, then have 4 spell cards and a normal-summonable witchcrafter to get Madame Verre and crash into it. 2) Bait the negate, then have Madame Verre and 3 spell cards and the spell card that lets you special summon from hand. Crash into it. And since you need an additional spell card for each negate, only option seems to be to pass turn. But still both options require 6-7 cards. (Luckilly opponents don't seem to consider negating their own cards to keep increasing Dragoons ATK to make it completely impossible). Though then again I also always choose to go second, to get the extra draw to hopefully not brick. (Plus I dont think Im good at making a board turn 1 to not instantly lose on turn 2) So maybe its better going first?
Nvm figured some ways to beat dragoon, tried playing with them against AI in EDOPro for a few hours. The white forest cards alone can basically take it down, bait the negate, summon silvera, put dragoon in defence, and beat the 2500 def. I also didn't realize negating it removes its protection so, bait negate, use madame verre's negate, then destroy using vice madame. ... I kinda assumed the passive parts of its effect were just things that were always true. Not part of its effect, and thus wouldn't be able to be negated.

Loving the deck, but for some reason my Albion is not summoning Dark Dragoon while Muddy Mudragon is in the grave and was used to summon Albion and was successfully Synchroed.
I'm so confused when using this deck when it comes to making dragoon because everytime I do the combo shown I got mudragon in grave and use albion effect to fusion but it never lets me make dragoon

If you want to stay at 40 cards, my friend, you have to cut the handtraps for this build! You can add them if you want, but you'll lose on consistency!
I have similar idea but can't really experiment around due to UR token limitation.. now I know what I'm missing (mostly) thanks! Also another idea for extender you can include the Visas Amritara I got from Kashtira hunting which can be used to search another negate (Mannadium reframing) while also being a tuner himself.

So unless you open with Witchcrafter monsters there is no bridge between archetypes

There's a bug in the game, so if you do the combo in solo mode, it won't work.

It's a known bug in the game right now, but it's present only in Solo Mode. If you try the combo online, it will work! 💪
