Seiko understand that watches today are primarily jewellery. Criticisms can be made about materials used, and no doubt the bracelets are mostly poor, but the Cocktail Time series feature dials that are unbeatable at their price point. If you view them under a loupe, you will see incredibly textured dials and mixed finishing techniques on the hands that you won't see elsewhere in that price category. They punch well above their weight, and there are plenty of aftermarket options for straps and bracelets. Hardlex also suits the style of the watches. They could use sapphire, but that domed look would be quite expensive to achieve, and not all sapphire is equal.
I do really like Venezianeco. Bond showed interest in the Certinas, went to sleep with the Bulgaris and left the building when the Seikos came up. Draw your own conclusions. 😉
Tag once again knocking itnoitnof the park with the Monaco...they keep going from strength to strength... that Certina was nice, a little boring, imo but I can't help but like the look and the colours available, great price too. Now... that Seiko presage 😍😍 fire once again from a brand that can't really do any wrong...well except the prices these days and the fact that they insist on the crystal and the end links...the astron is another looker, however, again the price 😱 Great video once again 😊
Very nice watches. The Seiko dial is very cool but I agree, what is has to with the Tokyo sky I'm not really sure. I've been there many times, maybe I should look up next time !
I only bought my presage when I didn't know any better. And I'm pretty sure that's their entire consumer base. Those end links are absolutely terrible.
The seiko looks nice but once again has woeful hardlex crystal, shockingly bad bracelets with hollow end links and is vastly overpriced for what you get. Why are people so obsessed with being ripped off by such a massive brand just down to brand name and heritage. They haven't even come up with an original design in over twenty years. A fool and his money are soon parted.

What watch were you wearing? Could not help but notice the lovely green dial.
i believe that's the latest release from Baltic. Baltic Prismic if im not mistaken
Great eye!
As someone pointed out it's a Baltic from their Prismic Stone Dials Collection. I recently did a review of this watch.
@24hourstime that's right...I just couldn't place it. Looks great.
I just got the the new Bulova Luna blood red moon watch .
What’s your view on it ?

I guess, Bond is the "mastermind" behind these videos....😜
hahaha
I really appreciate and love when people doing a watch reviews without holding those watches in their hands. 👎👎👎
Outstanding!!
Thanks
What do you think about the Selton M1 Tantalum Moonphase with the black MOP Guilloche dial?
Just looked it up. Seems really unique. I hope the final product is a good as the promise!

Thank you:)
How about glashute 2 tone? Look sick
I missed that one. I'll look it up and maybe mention it in the next week's video:)
The cocktail dial doesn’t wow me. I think it looks a mess, but maybe you need to see it up close.
6:00 You missed out on the ladies version of the Seiko Presage which has a unique crystal.
Yes you're right. It's a really cool watch but sometimes I have to cut some releases out.
Didn’t know I was buying another Seiko but here we are lol
LOL
Great video. Love the Monaco, but the 40hr power reserve and the ever increasing price probably means I’ll never get one
Thank you! And I agree 40 hours of power reserve seems low for a new watch release in 2024
Very nice watches. The Seiko dial is very cool but I agree, what is has to with the Tokyo sky I'm not really sure. I've been there many times, maybe I should look up next time !
According to Seiko, It represents the Night view of Tokyo, not the sky. Anyway, cool design.
@@juliom3552 Yes, you're right. I still don't see it though .😂 It's a beautiful watch anyway.
Thank you for the correction:)
@@24hourstime thanks for covering this release, I had no idea until I watched your video.
Another good video mate
Where were you?
Baltic Prismic Stone Dials watch. I recently did a review of it:)
My boy loves blue 😂
Where’s the puppy, was he being bad today? lol
He was there at the beginning of the video. Unfortunately, I couldn't afford his services for the whole video:(
Nice beard
Thanks!
I would never buy a watch with an integrated bracelet that immediately limits your strap choices
Ahh that Seiko was a letdown as usual. 9000 is not limited edition.
They've been doing this for years, it's nothing new. Also you'd be surprised, some of the older limited editions from Seiko are hard to find nowadays.
I only bought my presage when I didn't know any better. And I'm pretty sure that's their entire consumer base.
Those end links are absolutely terrible.
Who cares, just get an aftermarket strap
