    What a beautiful paradise. I got married on Captiva at Tween Waters Inn in 2000. I will never forget it. It was so Beautiful! Just in my dreams now. What a shame it was destroyed.😢

    My mom has always wanted to move here. Don’t know if that’s gon happen now. I have some fond memories & places I love that were the. Like the sanibel grille on sanibel as well as RC Otters on captiva. We go there every time. Most recently in august 2021

      Most of the buildings that were built recently with the new standards are doing well. Hopefully they will do the same with the others.

    Clearly these islands were not supposed to be inhabited with that many people. Should’ve only allowed resorts on that island, not residential properties.

    • @JoeinWashDC
      @JoeinWashDC 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That's what will happen now. Resorts will buy out stretches of homeowners who had no insurance and can't afford to rebuild and build resorts.

    Sun, sea, beach, cocktails, parties and dancing until morning. Let there be not a single unnecessary call, not a single boring day, not a single reason for disappointment. Enjoy your stay and have a lot of fun!

    All barrier island should remain unpopulated preserves. This area was ravaged in 2004 by Charley. They rebuilt only to be flattened again. Dumb.
