The movie "the other woman" brought me here as well.....my life is a turmoil everyday I have to battle with my mother's mental illness, my father's disease, my husband's addiction, my son's disability, my brother's problems, among many other things. I am not a religious person either, but I believe deeply in God, I thank him for allowing me to have two amazing sons whom without, I don't think I can make it, they are my "sun rising" every day. God has his reasons for choosing the life he did for me, and I don't judge him. I thank him for allowing me to be kind of heart regardless of all the sorrow in my life. I am a better person today, thanks to all the adversity I have encountered.

I love this song. I come to it when I’m feeling down. I lost my Grandpa. We were so close I loved him so much. 5 months later I lost my first child at 11 weeks pregnant and I also suffer from infertility so conceiving was hard and trying again is even harder I haven’t been able to get pregnant again now for a year. I was already diagnosed with depression 4 years earlier and losing them made it worse. I come to this song and I feel like I’ll be ok ❤️

I've never really been a religious person, spiritual yes, but not religious. Literally ever since I was a child every church that I went to made me feel like a leper. The only church I've been in recently was one in France during a school trip. Other than that I haven't been to a church in about 7 maybe 8 years. All because I have always felt like an outsider in every single one. What I do know is that Britt Nicole and her songs are the only thing that have made me feel. Like when you get that feeling that for some reason makes you want to cry but you're not sad.

I love this song. I come to it when I’m feeling down. I lost my Grandpa. We were so close I loved him so much. 5 months later I lost my first child at 11 weeks pregnant and I also suffer from infertility so conceiving was hard and trying again is even harder I haven’t been able to get pregnant again now for a year. I was already diagnosed with depression 4 years earlier and losing them made it worse. I come to this song and I feel like I’ll be ok ❤️

I woke up this morning and this was in my mind after a nightmare and I was recently in a very hard break up and this helped a lot and I cried listening to this.
This comment was exactly my morning. I slept in till 1pm because when i dreamed of my ex, i hoped that me and him would get back together. Just that desire and reality that this isn’t real, and i got to deal with him on Monday to return his stuff. We left school as a couple, but now that spring break is over in two days, were returning as strangers. I thought of this song when i woke up and started playing it, i realized that ill be okay though. Good to know i am not alone in this.

When I first heard The Sun Is Rising it clicked with me instantly. There have been times that I felt weak and bad about myself. It was never to do with men. What's helped me to feel stronger and more confident is the love and support of others. People make mistakes nobody's perfect, we learn from our experiences and move forward.
This song ..dark times..heard this song in the movie other woman as did others but this rang differently for me...I am a domestic violence survivor ...and 4 days ago I seen his face when my testimony was heard and he was guilty ..and I stood strong when so many others couldn't....this song struck me in a different way as a reminder to what I overcame...and to serve what I will NEVER go back to or be in again....I am here and I am loving this version of myself I am becoming!! I've never really been a religious person, spiritual yes, but not religious. Literally ever since I was a child every church that I went to made me feel like a leper. The only church I've been in recently was one in France during a school trip. Other than that I haven't been to a church in about 7 maybe 8 years. All because I have always felt like an outsider in every single one. What I do know is that Britt Nicole and her songs are the only thing that have made me feel. Like when you get that feeling that for some reason makes you want to cry but you're not sad.
