I wish in the video you were more clear about how to actually spawn the red moon in. you never actually say how it spawns you just say it spawns in "plenty of areas like the Forbidden Grove and the Lost Temple".
For those curious, you can just walk back and forth between 2 yaesha areas via fog gate like the one connecting Imperial Gardens and Forbidden Grove (the red moon has a chance to spawn in both of these). Walk back and forth between areas enough times and eventually it will spawn in one of the areas, took me 5 or 6 tries.
saved me 11 minutes of boredom
came to confirm that this is exactly how i got mine, took me 5 attempts to spawn the event and it lasted to collect 46 blood moons

A key note here: Wisps only spawn near WOOD buildings! The reason why they are no wisps in the Nameless Nest are due to the fact that there are no wooden buildings. In the video, that actually WAS a blood moon event and the Nameless nest is NOT naturally dark. There's just no wooden buildings there.
Tips: once the moon event started, it's timed, so you can warp out and back in and it'll still be active as long as it hasn't run out of time. After the event ends it can't reoccur until 5-60 minutes later. You need about 60 of the essence to buyout the altar shop, not including the potion buff that cost 1 essence
Ugh, trying to get just summoner at one point made me almost uninstall and write the game off and RNG based garbage early on. I got several blood moons with NO essence. Yes, i double, even triple checked running through the zone again with door resets. It needs a serious rework, the fact you can get Blood Moons with no essence straight up shouldnt be possible. Coming back to this now, weeks later, 40 hours under my belt, is giving me a lot of bad, returning feelings. Yeasha is the next world I'll be really diving into for secret items, and I'm dreading the blood moon farm. Hopfully I finally get some decent rng with it. Had to leech off my buddied blood moons just for summoner, and nothing else. I'd really like the ring and armor. Geneuinly, this is the lowest point of the games entirety in my opinion. Nothing has come even close to being as bad.

You should try farming darksouls 3 items. Shits painstakingly tedious lol especially covenant items
@@jeffreyquinonez8964 at least dark souls items are guaranteed and just a matter of drop rate. You don't need specific triggers for them to drop just go to the anor Londo Silver knights or the skeletons for vertebrae.. I did all mine online since I PvP all the time

I agree its just dumb and all classes should just be available at the beginning of the game. I like the game a lot but this is my main problem with it... granted I only been playing for bout a week but I like to be a summoner with many pets in any game I play.. and I can't just pick the class I want cause I have to unlock it first smh...
I have a large tree canopy over the opening in the ceiling of the Cathedral of Omens so I can’t even clearly see the sky to tell if there’s a blood moon there! Gahhhh hahaha
were the doors fixed? i went thru doors about 5 times last night and lost my red moon only netting me 4 essences during those runs, or just a bug?

Ok, here's what I had to do: Red throne, exit to Whispering Weald. That one is normal black/grey like video said. Not red, go to ps5 change time to 1:29, etc... until I see red, go back in and out of that yellow door from red throne to WW. Once I saw it, look for purple guys (hard to find) they hide and are fast. I had to do it 3x, to all the blood moons. One time had to move the date 1 day ahead w/ 1:29am, etc.. until it hit. Got 3 blood moons so this works
Also I could see red moon in mine, had to run out a little by a portal and a bridge turn around and it was hiding behind the WW door! I believe i was able to go back and forth about 10x before the moon ended. Rinse and repeat until I had enough essence to get everything.
Can you fast travel to the cathedral of omens during the blood moon event to get the ring of omens or do you have to travel all the way there on foot? Like if ur in one area of the map and it happens to be a blood moon, can you quickly fast travel to the cathedral or will it cancel out the blood moon?
They dont spawn for me at all ive been through the events a ton of time's now and nothing 😢
Do you have to discover all areas in order for the event to spawn in?
After finding blood moon you can definitely use crystals. Just don't leave Yaesha to Ward 13.
Are you able to just keep playing through Yaesha without rerolling to get blood moons, or how do you know when no more wisps will spawn?
I was using the nightfall weapon ability to collect like 20 of them and for some dumb reason when you use the ability you get none so I wasted a lot of my time WTF is evn that shit

it's the "Spectral Blade". You get it from the boss Sha'Hala on N'Erud, but you have to start at "Seeker's Rest", and not "Forgotten Prison". There's an item in that version of N'Erud called the "Override Key", but you DON'T want to use it. If you do, you'll get another boss item, and you CAN'T get the sword.

@@TAMPATLBLACK it has a pretty cool charge up effect that does decent dmg, similar to malenias ability from elden ring

Legit, shotguns are probably the best weapons for killing the wisps. They have like no health, so it doesn't even matter at what range you shoot them.
