for clarity: i have used ChatGPT to help me structure this novel, and used it to come up with some ideas, such as names, places ect. this work is around 70% my own, and 30% chat gpt influence. I've given it the theme for the story, the basic plot and from its recommendations, prompted it to write by its self. I've then edited what its written when I think it needs correcting or improving.
ChatGPT will not describe violence or more adult themes, so these parts are written by me.
I Intend for this story to be a kind of first draft of my attempt at this novel, and plan to edit it later to make it much more human based. Its an experiment to find out what chatGPT can do at this stage in its life, and to find the best way to work with it.
After writing a few chapters, ive found it works very well to treat it like a second person, who is a near expert in many subjects, but also with the ability to research for you, correct you, edit you or just inspire you. its a very versatile tool and have found this process fun, inspiring and revolutionary for creativity.
