As a triple a player myself, I absolutely Love being recognized, and the fact that someone wants MY autograph, because I remember when I was a kid in the Jeter Era trying to get autographs of my heroes, its just soo cool, but I only sign one per person, no adults only moms or dads if their with their kids

My dad played professional baseball in the mid to late 80’s and he always talks about any time he was in his home stadium, people would ask him to sign weird stuff and ask him for everything he was wearing. Hats jerseys cleats bat glove you name it and his response every time was “what am I going to do when I show up to tomorrows game with no (insert whatever they asked for that day)

My oldest brother played double A ball and then played for the Miami marlins for 7 years wasnt a big time player but he was decent played from 1998-2005 he said the weirdest thing hes ever signed was a women's ass cheek at a bar and then someone traced his hand on her ass she got it tattooed

Only asked for minor league players autographs and always kept the ball and when they get to the show I have that ball they sign in my hand watching them make their big debut I’m from Massachusetts where there are a ton of minor league teams my family have been doing this tradition for years we never sell our autographs balls I have a ball signed by vladdy junior during his time with the fisher cats and jacoby Ellsbury time with the Lowell spinners my uncle was at the longest professional game of baseball ever and has autographs balls from cal Ripken jr wade boggs and other legends from that game we still have all the balls and have zero intention of selling them and plan on passing those balls through the family baseball is our family baseball is in our blood

I went to a few baseball stadiums and it didn’t look easy at all to get autographs because it’s always so crowded and there’s not that much spots you can go to meet the players. Do you have any recommendations on how I can get autographs when I go to another baseball game?
Maybe try arriving early and try to claim a spot close to the field where you'll be able to get the player's attention!

I grew up with season tickets to the dbacks back in the late 90s through the 2000s and would go to every single home game three hours early to catch batting practice and get autographs. I remember being a ten year old kid and feeling embarrassed for the grow ass men running around the stadium trying to get autographs 😂 so pathetic…
