The reason why the griffin gargoyle said no because like in the books it also refused to recognise Umbrigde as the new headmistress of Hogwarts because of how evil she was and that she usurped the school from Dumbledore, but allowed Hagrid in the office due to it’s fear of him.
Just wow this is a perfect example of top tier YTP editing took years to get it but by damn it's here and I couldn't be anymore happy. God the Head poping and regrowing killed me this is so funny I could've died from the laughter!

I adore narrative-driven YTPs like this. They already take a huge amount of editing, which is very easy to overlook - but this must take so much extra effort to edit. I remembering watching your very early stuff a decade ago and I love seeing that you're still doing this
