we used to eat the little seed pods when we were kids. Loved how if they were super ripe they would pop open and the little clear seeds would fly everywhere. :) sour and tasty.
Speaking of seed pods popping, ever had bittercress seeds pop in your face? Hit me right in the eye. Suboptimay way to 1st discover that tasty edible. Lol.
My granddaughter has been enjoying the wood sorrel leaves since she could walk out in my yard and retrieve them. I never knew though that the seed pods and flowers are edible too. You always share great info, Shane. Thanks again. Oh yeah, the oxalic acid makes the tangy taste; too much is not good.
