At a time when rear wheel drives were becoming popular (early 2000's Dodge Magnums/Chrysler 300s), remember traveling side streets with slight inclines and those cars being stuck Audi would walk right around them.
Get some nice winter tires and you'll never be stuck. I have a 2011 as well and I live in Minnesota. I actually don't even have dedicated winter tires, I have "all weather" tires that are good for both winter and summer. Goodyear WeatherReady's and Michelin Crossclimate2 are amazing

The ground clearance is very low. That was loose fresh snow you literally moved with the bumper without damage. I'm wondering about heavy wet snow we get in the spring.
@@Vinterfrid I actually looked at the Suzuki Awd. The best gas milage there is. Great if you don't leave the city. However the Outback had much better cargo room. 28 mpg city or 10 liters/100k. I wish Suzuki had a full station wagon. Dodge, Honda fit Toyota yaris echo, make the same size as the Suzuki. I just don't get it. There's no cargo room. Another 2 feet like the Ford focus wagon and you have a fully functional car. You can even sleep in the back with the seat down if you like.

My daughter has one with beefy winter tires and she never gets stuck.

@@itsnotme-jl9jt I don't think 18 cm ground clearance is low. One has to keep in mind that the SX4 is a Crossover, not a SUV.

Why wouldn't you just take 5 minutes to clear the snow in front and then drive through?
