in my case the steering lock was activated. you probably figured it out by now. But just in case (and for others as well), the solution: While the car is off and locked. Take the key out of the holster and use that to open the car, leave the key in the door. Then go in, close the door (leave the key in the drivers door) and now you can start the car. I had this problem suddenly when i was all ready to go to an appointment. Sometimes a very frustrating technological age we live in.
Troy Wiltshire I had the same problem with my Suzuki Swift DDis. Car wouldnt start, engine wouldnt turn over. The problem is a sensor issue. I took it to the Suzuki main dealer and they spent 2 weeks still couldn’t fixed the problem, they told me theres no Error code and everything was fine on the dynostic. My Suzuki was then tolled to another Suzuki mechanic in Wolverhampton where they have the Best dynostic equipment and straight away they find the fault which is a faulty sensor and cost £14 to replaced. I couldn’t tell you which sensor it was coz I already sold my Suzuki Swift. Hope this can help. Some garage told me the problem is the EDU which will cost over £1000 to fix, good job I went with the main Dealer. 😄. Hope this helps. Good luck buddy
Can somebody help he mine is doing somthing similar my ignition lights dont come on just the flashing orange key light and some times that green circle with the arrow
I took it to industrial motors msida, explained the problem and what i think it is (steering lock) and they got it fixed! Finally ( after running to every mechanic i know).
This happens when you move the steering of the car without putting the keys in the KeyHole . The steering gets locked . So always move the steering when the key is put . Solution : Press Brake , then press clutch together , now gently try to move the key . It should work now . Thanks.
Your absolutely right. Thank. Open car with key, leave key in car door, shut tge door and turn engine button, worked! Brilliant x
