@@elementalmade a guard that allows one edge to be covered while using it would be helpful. I understand that would get in the way while splitting... but even single edged hatchets are more dangerous to use than longer handled axe's. Definitely not a tool you hand to an inexperienced user

Just in time, unfortunately council tool decided to discontinue these.
@@timc46440 You can actually find them at certain places still. Kent of inglewood is where I got mine and they still have some.
