    Some AA look down on locals. They don't even bother to learn local languages. Once you move to someone else's territory you must behave and integrate with the locals and learn about their culture, tradition, history and not impose your ideologies on them.

      That goes both ways with Africans coming to South Africa and America not trying to learn the history of the people nor respecting the natives of the land.

      This takes time. We have people who migrate to America and never can grasp the language. Language is best learned in childhood. Go easy on them because they are dealing with so much just moving to another country. We are tolerant in America of people not learning English.

    If you eventually work or do business in Kenya your money in Kenya will be like Kenyan money. Keep prices low in Kenya for the massives. American prices now are extremely high. So it end up balancing out.

    As a guest of US Civil rights Organizer , Charles Cobb Jr. Kenya's Independence VP Oginga Odinga was once arrested in Atlanta while in Atlanta protesting against Black discrimination together with 17 other SNCC students .
    This was an embarrassment for the relations between US and Kenya after the state realized that they had locked up Kenya VP .
    He refused to leave jail until all the black students were released .
    His wishes were granted .

    Kenya's independence constitution was partly written by first US Black Chief Justice Thurgood Marshall who was friends with Kenya Nationalists Jomo Kenyatta, Oginga Odinga and Tom Mboya .
    Tom Mboya was a Keynote speaker at the March in Washington in 1963 and close friends of Dr. Martin Luther King, Harry Belafonte ,Andrew Young, Sidney Poitier, Ralph Abernathy and other black civil rights leaders .

    Evans, it’s a beautiful family that you’re interviewing. But some African-American would like the privilege life that they bring with them to Africa. Why it seems to me that they are the only ones complaining about everything. Most AA’s don’t read, or know anything on international affairs or African affairs. A lot could be said, but think of Marcus Garvey UNIA and the NAACP, notice Africa is not mention? Because some AA’s did not want to be known as Africans at one point.☮️&❤

    The Heading and some of talks in between the Whole conversations were about Downsizing Tanzania 🇹🇿 which is Usually most topics and agenda of this Narrator(Alex). There is no one day he he will have conversations with African Americans without mentioning Tanzania in a Negative way. But waagt we can tell him is that, Tanzania will never be down and it will keep shining even more. Another thing is, Kiswahili or Swahili language is the National language of Tanzania which was changed from English in the 70s in order for the country to have Identity and not use Colonizers’s language which is English. Kenya has no Identity as it still pretending to use everything was left by colonizers which British. Tanzania Will continue using Swahili as National language as they love it and they are keeping it. Whoever is not comfortable with Swahili or want English then should go to America or Europe.

    False information about buying land in Kenya. Foreigners can’t directly buy land in Kenya and get free hold land titles. The only way they can own land and get free hold land title is to marry a Kenyan, or purchase through partnerships, either individual or business partnership.

      @evans_KE  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      What of they acquire residency or citizenship. Does it still apply.

      @@evans_KE they get residency and then citizen citizenship through marriage -this is the loophole and fastest route. Other than that NO.
      Limitation of property ownership
      The limitations of property ownership in Kenya by foreigners can be found in the Constitution and the Land Control Act (Cap 302).
      As per Article 65(1) of the Constitution, a “person who is not a citizen may hold land on basis of leasehold tenure only, and any such lease, however granted, shall not exceed ninety nine years”. However, on expiry of the leasehold term a renewal of the lease may be sought. Article 65 further provides that any document which purports to confer on a foreign investor an interest in land with a lease of more than 99 years is deemed and regarded as conferring on that foreigner a 99-year lease and no more. This means that foreign investors can purchase leasehold properties for more than99 years. However, the constitution implies that it will be deemed as conferring only a 99-year leasehold interest on the foreigner.
      A company, as per the Constitution and for purposes of property ownership, is regarded as a Kenyan company only if it is wholly owned by one or more Kenyan citizens. Therefore, a company with foreign shareholders is regarded as a foreign company and cannot own freehold land. Moreover, a trust cannot be formed to obviate this requirement. The Constitution was promulgated on August 28 2010. Under Article 8(1) in the Sixth Schedule to the Constitution, any freehold interest in land in Kenya held by a person who is not a Kenyan citizen shall revert to the Republic of Kenya to be held on behalf of the people of Kenya, and the state will grant a peppercorn rent for 99 years to that individual. This means that from the effective date, any freehold land or absolute proprietorship held by a foreigner is truncated to a 99-year lease with a peppercorn rent.

      @@evans_KE In Rwanda, foreigners can purchase land and get free hold land title in their name. They don’t have to be a resident or citizen of Rwanda.
      All African countries need to follow Rwanda when it comes to foreigners purchasing and owning free hold land titles. It encourages foreigners to invest. I wouldn’t invest in a country that I can’t purchase land without having free hold land title and live there. I would visit Africa but remain living in the US. That’s just my opinion.
      I enjoyed this videos immensely and thanks for allowing me to interact with you. I will look out for more interesting and informative videos.

      @HisMajesty64 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Respectfully, even the attempt to correct the misconception on the purchase and ownership of land by foreigners in Kenya is itself incorrect. Many a time such misconceptions are peddled at foreigners who invest along those lines and lies resulting in them being shortchanged even where the intention was genuine at the outset. The land laws and constitution are absolutely clear on that.

    FRAME 14:59 "...my fiancee..."
    The African-American dude addressed Sister Faith as "my fiancee," which means they are not married. Yet they already have a baby together, living together, doing things together, and making more future plans together?
    He also called his "fiancee" "a matchmaker." Is this what they are promoting in Kenya? Male and female lving together, as in America, making babies without the commitment of marriage?
    So, what is stopping them from getting "married," first, before going around broadcasting their "illicit" relationship to "Africans?"
    Did you know that 70% of African-Americans are born out of wedlock? Is this the type of African-American value system "Sister Faith" and her "finace" wish to help perpetuate in Africa?
