This is so sweet it makes me think that despite all of his athletic accomplishments, the idea that someone wants to basically carry on his legacy because he inspired them brought him to tears, it's just so genuine and sweet and I wish you both such happy lives 😭💖

Honestly finding out that your craft has inspired somebody or really profoundly impacted another human being, or helped shape somebody, it can be a really overwhelming and humbling feeling.

Well the problem is that the jump he did is gonna cost points for Gunther since he did not land the trick. That jumps shows the judges that he may have fallen forwards or backwards so that's why he had to do the jump to stabilize and not fall on his butt
