Yeah, our earliest remembrance of midnight walks, was with our parents in Mel Thirupathi. Those days, our trips used to be for a couple of days and nights. And, after checking into the cottage, but much ahead of the darisanam, our dad would take us out around the Thanga Gopuram. We still feel the effect of those precious moments. For a long long period, I had thought that Thirupathi, particularly at night, was heaven. And Gods descended, and all.
And, though of course our stomachs would have already been full by the ambience there, yet Appa would treat us with whatever was available at that time.
Your midnight travel brought all these memories into me. Thanks a lot. And lots of love to you for sharing your time with us.
Though after marriage and staying abroad and all, we have had our share of such moments too, this Thirupathi night walks still remains in the pinnacle.
Wow that’s a wonderful memory to cherish for life 😍 I remember the night walks with parents in Thirupathi too. It’s an amazing place. We are visiting Tirupathi next week with family 😊
