Dzien dobry! I'm a Polish-American so I appreciate you sticking up for yourself. Poland is a beautiful country HOWEVER the older Polish people are cold, misogynistic, racist, and homophobic. I'm sorry you experienced this, it's a harsh reality feeling an outcast in any society. It's been two years, I hope you're out but I hope you enjoyed your studies nonetheless.

I got evicted out of my apartment along with my friends because of very rude old polish couple and the worse landlord to ever exist. They took all my advance deposit plus even asked for extra charges which they basically forcefully took from us by threatening us with legal case warning from attorney. I went to study in Poland, dropped out within 6 months and left Poland because of a lot of problems I have faced. I am done with studying in Poland. Never gonna go there again. I was really exited when I went. But ended up very badly disappointed.

utkarsh i can relate where you're come from my friend. There's racism in all parts of the world . It make the insecured feel better . It is unfortunate but I've also seen people turn around and respect you when you start making your own life foundations out of bricks that people throw at you. I was exposed to a lot of racism , i did not react, smiled and always reminded myself what am I here for. How can i better myself every single day. Today i am a doctor and the same people who called me names like SandN***er , curry people, brown tr*** etc are the ones who've come and apologized. I have never been to poland . I live in the states but my girlfriend is Polish. I can tell you from my experience. She 's one of the most beautiful thing that has ever happened to me .

Hey Utkarsh, sometimes we have to face challenges like this in order to move forward with our goals and dreams. It’s been very brave and mature of you to have decided to go there in the first place, especially for lasting this long. When I was 18, I moved out on my own to another city to attend university too (not country so not as extreme) but it was still very different and I was an ethnic minority as well. Although challenging, it helped me grow. I’m sorry you have gone through some hardships, but I’m sure it will make you more of a compassionate and mature young man. Sending you hugs and can’t wait to see you graduate!
Also, I love language. The profession I decided to specialize in is helping English language learners -adults learning a second language in general. One of the reasons why is because I want to support them and emphasize how important it is not to feel ashamed for accent and your identity and background. I grew up seeing my dad mistreated or not given opportunities because of his accent, yet he was still persistent to fight for his dreams. I want to help language learners and give them the power of voice while being proud of their roots. I’m sure you are proud, regardless of what has happened to you. Sending you hugs my friend.

It is true that temporary and permanent residence cards are very, very difficult to get. They reject and make it as hard as possible. It is a long and difficult process and get ready to fight. Offices are often not friendly or helpful a lot of the time. Some are quite nice but most are not friendly as much as AUS, UK are. so be prepared for that. Cards take 12 months to process. Work is Uber, Glovo etc..but look out for racism especially in the East. Big cities are not racist so much as smaller cities.I am Australian and my observation is Polish people can be very dirty and unhygienic (think..spitting on the ground, dog poop on the pavements, don't wash hands) but Indians are very clean, usually don't smoke and don't do smoker's coughing on public transport. Lots of Polish people smoke and will cough right on top of you. Indians never do this. If you speak a foreign language out in public people can tell you to speak Polish only. My toddler child was told several times by strangers to only speak Polish on the bus. Weird

Ty nigdy nie byłeś w Polsce. 1. W Polsce, w miejscach publicznych jest zakaz palenia. W transporcie publicznym nie do pomyślenia.
      2. 90% Polaków mówi po angielsku.

As an Italian person with Polish roots, studying now in Danzig, I completely agree with u, it's not a good country to study in if u're Indian: I have several Indian friends getting devaluated by the locals for ethnic reason on a daily basis, and if you ask for the help of the authorities, they'll just let it go in most of the cases, because they're racist themselves

@@michalindesergev7395 i would definitely answer that: sphere of influence, soft power etc are determined by Economy, size of the economy, in next 10 years India will attain the economic strength just about to deal with the poorest and raising them out of povertyline. What does that mean? It will give leverage to the nation to invest in future, sphere of influence like what China(the way you are learning Chinese) is doing. In terms of human index, a very small country may be far ahead than US, China or European majors(NOT Poland). However, in terms of influence and soft power, US has the lead or even China has the lead currently because of the sheer size of volume. India has less commercial prosperity than mega cities so is Poland. The influx of immigrants in other countries including Germany and the skill demography tells everything(very low skilled). India will rise and its is destined to as it used to be a 25% of Gobal GDP, get used to it !
And yeah find an example of a Polish ruler who adopted some persecuted Indians because the reverse is true.

A lot of ambiguous and misinformation here.
You do get a stamp on your passport when you apply for karta Pobytu.
You do not need a work permit to work if you come as a student
English is widely accepted in MNCs, especially for Indians it’s an advantage because most Indians are good at English
Uber eats and other delivery jobs as part time is not looked down upon. Many polish and non Indians do this and make enough to manage their monthly expenses. Snow flakes will always complain.
In the end, victim mentality will not take you too far in your life. Struggle and make it worth for yourself.
No one makes you feel inferior because Indians can’t speak English. Most Indians who come to study and work abroad speak better English than their European counterparts.
This is the most misleading video I have seen about life of foreigners in Poland.

Here is the process for Slovakia 🇸🇰: you apply for D visas (where of course non-genuine students could be rejected, but at least you will know if on the spot), come to Slovakia and apply for RP at the foreign police. In 30 days you get a residence card for the whole length of your studies.

When you said "Poland is not very friendly to immigration from 3rd world country"... my question to you would be "Why would they?" Do you think the west has nothing better to do than invite third world people here? Be happy that you got the chance. I'm German and even I have to work to find my place here. Nobody is welcoming me either. Do you honestly think a country should just welcome everybody just for the heck of it? The country doesn't need you. AT ALL. It's up to you to prove that you can leave a positive mark, but don't expect anybody to be grateful to you to come here, because the country is just fine without any immigration. I have never understood immigrants that go to a country and expect that country to somehow be heads over heels grateful that you decided to move there. Do you really think that highly of yourself? You should be grateful that moving to Europe is an option AT ALL. Do you have any idea how long it took us Europeans to make it possible for Europeans to freely move between countries? And guess what... if I lose my job here and can't contribute to the society, before I have stayed here long enough to get permanent residency, they'll kick me right back to Germany as well. Come off your entitled butt. You being Indian has ZERO to do with it. I'm German and nobody is welcoming me with open arms either. It's up to ME to prove that I am a net positive for the country or not. Poland doesn't owe me ANYTHING.

Majority population in all over Europe is older :) they need people to work and pay taxes so that they could pay the pension to those older peeps and be prosperous at the same time economically. Ask your govs to not give visa at all xdd and don’t hire foreigners who immigrate and build your countries. Interesting video although it could do with better structure. A lot of things are similar across Europe. The racism is sad, and hopefully it will die down. In Western Europe it has taken a few years from the moment they started receiving immigration. On job prospects I completely disagree and I think you are unaware of the realities of Western Europe. Poland and Czech Republic are currently the best places to start a career, there are many jobs on more junior level and many companies taking people. Unemployment the lowest. In Western Europe it is much harder to get in, and competition much bigger. It’s best to move there after first getting a few years experience in Poland. If you have a corporate job with private healthcare and a Polish friend to help you at the government office you don’t need to speak Polish in Poland.

When i heard that unless you get TRC, you can not leave the country. Thats my concern. Having said so, that means either you get TRC or complete 3.5 or 4 years program and then leave the country. Is that right?

When u go to Spain.. Same they dont speak super good english neither France. Like... U cant be mad at person who lives in his own country and knows only his own language 😅 but i get it it can be frustrating for both sides in some situations 😬

    • @LifeOfUtkarsh
      @LifeOfUtkarsh  4 ปีที่แล้ว +5

Well eventually you will get TR at some point but it takes very long time 8-12 months. Jobs are there but only if you stand out or you’ll land up in sectors which won’t be relevant to what you actually studied. It’s depends if you got that language skills and especially for Masters studies Germany seem to be better choice for most students.
