I actually quite enjoy this tank and consistently have 3k+ damage games. The biggest problem with this tank is its slow reload time which is why I do 3k+ damage lots but rarely get over 4k+. Needs bounty turbo, aiming and vents.
4:18. Yeah the progetto have like 1.8... but the progetto have 240 alpha. This has 360... Compare it to something with 360 alpha, like bourasque or t-34-2
I got 80 boxes after new year, so near at the end of boxes days. Got from those 80 boxes the Iron/Vipera/Char/BZ176 and yes, AMBT. I was thinking, man, I am so lucky. I have only 5 games in this tank till this day, 5. I have grey hair, but omg, I don't need more. On the other note, got my self the Progetto46 early this year when it was on sale....pure joy. Day by day I'm lurking through your yt videos, watched Grind5(Sconq), love it. Keep it up!
I got it the other day and yeah,the gun can be a little wonky at times and then sometimes it’s pretty good but the thing i dislike the most about it is it’s slow as hell, but I was surprised with it,I’ve had pretty good games with it and I didn’t know it was an autoreloader, and the turret is better than I would have expected, but I’ve also had some utter crap games with it too,overall I like it but it can be a little frustrating Oh, and happy birthday
this tank suffers from the same problem all auto-reloaders and autoloaders have : "increased RNG" . When a normal gun fires, RNG screws up that one shot,not the whole mag,or the whole clip. If mercury ain't in retrograde, then you'll miss at least 1 shot of the salvo.
I bought it recently because Its one of the few tanks I didn't have and I quite enjoy it. Sure the gun handling isn't the best and view range sucks but do you really need the view range when you're not hitting long distance targets? I find the combination of relatively good mobility, some armor and big alpha with autoreloader somewhat good. I play the tank from close to mid range and it works for me. Also with wot+ I can have my bounty equipment on it and with stab, rotation mechanism and experimental aiming unit/experimental turbo the gun behaves quite good imo. That's my accuracy setup, as my second setup I use stab, HP boost, and turbo/vents when I want to play super agresively
The dpm, gun dispersion when moving/turret moving and lack of mobility suck about this tank. However I enjoy it: the apcr rounds are nice, high pen in the premium ammo, good turret and upper plate you get a lot of ricochets. Only use the single shot, and the reloader for finishing someone off if necessary. The aim time takes too long between shots which causes more misses so don't go into your clip often.
I love this tank, its turret armour amazes me how much it can bounce, I play it much closer to the enemy than the Progetto so I don't notice the gun being that bad, I never spam gold ammo so I just run regular ammo in mine, still managed to 3 mark it and make some crazy good credits while doing it. . I had it before the Christmas box's though so it was probably easier to 3 mark then, I went with vents, optics and improved aiming as I found the gun dispersion while moving was fine.
I run vents with vent purge that gets you to 445 view range and I run a bounty vert stab with turbo. The tank is good, it has a higher skill level than a progetto, mostly because it is not as good as a progetto so you have to use your brain to do well in it. I run nothing but gold, it's an autoreloader and it has too few shells to have a mix of anything.
Your problem with the gun probably comes from the post-shot bloom. On the AMBT it's atrocious. I've had some good results running rotation mechanism and vstab, as those are the only equipment that reduce it to even slightly useable levels. The bonus from vents just isn't justifiable vs optics or turbo, imo.
First ammo starved tank I've seen so far, I mean, way smaller tanks on tier I stores 1000 shells, I guess logic doesn't exist on WoT 😂, They sacrificed mobility for added armor and still gets easily pen'd left and right. By the way sorry if I butcher your cat's name Tiggy or Tiki would be a good tank crew man, always watching your back haha, named mine Hellcat actually, best little bugger I've had. I prefer this over the progetto. You just haven't set it up correctly and or playing it wrong. Play it like a soviet med.

this tank works well for me!! it’s no progetto but that doesn’t mean it’s bad. 1000 clip potential is kinda sexy to be slinging around with

I use improved aiming instead of optics but this gun still can't hit anything

I run improved hardening, improved config, and optics. I wish the engine would run properly.
Sounds like me an the Jagdpanzer E100 I have it at .28 accuracy but sometimes it just feels like a KV-2.

maybe you shou;d try to use locations that you can hide your body and expose only the turret. Maybe an uphill or smthing
