‘Home School’ คือโรงเรียนประจําทางเลือกใหม่ที่ตั้งอยู่กลางป่าที่ห่างไกลผู้คน ในทุกๆ 3 ปี จะมีการคัดเลือกนักเรียนที่มีคุณสมบัติตรงตามที่โรงเรียนต้องการ รุ่นละไม่เกิน 13 คน เพื่อเข้าศึกษาในหลักสูตรพิเศษที่ไม่มีโรงเรียนไหนเคยมีมาก่อน และเด็กทั้ง 13 คนต้องใช้ชีวิต เรียน กิน นอน และเอาตัวรอดใน Home School ให้ได้ตลอดระยะเวลา 3 ปี
จากที่เคยคิดว่า โรงเรียนนี้จะเป็นโรงเรียนประจําของเด็กร่ำรวยที่เน้นความสะดวกสบายเหมือนที่คติประจําโรงเรียนกล่าวไว้ว่า ‘การเรียนรู้ที่ดูแลเหมือนอยู่บ้าน’ กลับกลายเป็น ‘คุก’ สําหรับเด็กๆ เพราะกฎข้อบังคับที่เคร่งครัด ไม่มีสิ่งอํานวยความสะดวก ไม่มีโทรศัพท์ ไม่มีอินเตอร์เน็ต ต้องตื่นพร้อมกัน นอนพร้อมกัน กินข้าวพร้อมกัน และถ้ามีใครคนหนึ่งผิดกฎ คนที่เหลือต้องถูกรับโทษไปด้วย แต่ใครจะรู้ว่าการเปิดเทอมครั้งนี้จะทำให้ชีวิตของพวกเขาเปลี่ยนไปตลอดกาล...

Everyone at Home School has their own struggles with their families and their traumas and even though the place feels like a prison, even if the methods used are objectionable and cruel, it’s the one who brought them together, so if we see it from that perspective Home School is a blessing. They are learning some lessons, they are supporting one another, Hugo even apologized to Pennhung and Hugo is the worst, but he’s also the one carrying the heavy trauma. Now I’m going to see the series and its characters in a new light, having all this information is important to understand better their behaviors. It’s a pity they have suffered so much 😢
