Some people just don't know what their talking about and can stir up trouble. Please don't let this discourage you from all the work you do for these beautiful horses. God Bless you all. Keep them wild and free
You folk do such a great job educating everyone about the goings on in your neighbourhood (all-be-it a large area.) There is always someone wanting to stir the pot...they don't know what they are talking about. 💟🐎🐎🐎🙏
Your help with supplementing salt to these beauties is not baiting! There will always be the ones to ANY video (negative comments). Love your videos and informative content! Thanks for posting such beautiful footage!!
We were taught as ranchers that horses with a full supply of salt and minerals actually eat less and stay in better condition. The red' brown block your useing are about as go of balance for horses as you can get .
Well done! The more subscriber you get, the more bad comment are going to be there, sadly! But don´t worry! The majority of us are amazed for what you are doing and fighting for!!
Hmm😊 my 2nd comment Putting out salt and minerals is a ideal way of grass management. IF ' there was an area getting over grazed just move the salt blocks to a new location .
You speak with TRUTH and LOGIC. Now I have a question for anyone. The horsey that is near the salt lick at 1:17 and then walks off is considered what color scheme? Not a Buckskin right because the mane and tail are so light colored-- almost monochromatic. That monochromatic coloring reminds me of a female Elk in summertime. A Buckskin has to have a black mane and tail, right ?
these videos are beautiful but given the previous video, I do wonder if it is a good thing to send a man made creation, a domesticated animal to fend for itself, or if it results in too much animal suffering. For instance they are subject to flies, whereas domestic horse husbandry controls that and wild animals have evolved to deal with it too, at least to some degree? Also no wild animal has hair covering its eyes...seems like a bad idea in general for evading predators. Idk, maybe it is not an issue, but perhaps something to consider. These horses exist only for human enjoyment, which I certainly understand.
Horses can see something/someone for a very long distance as long as there is no obstruction to their view. They have been out in the wild for hundreds of years, and are very well adapted to their environment. Wild horses aren't pampered domestic pets. They are strong, tough animals. The weak and vulnerable get taken out by predators first, just like any other wild creature. As difficult as it is to watch, it's the cycle of nature.
Good grief. Strange comments. These horses are not manmade. Animals are not manmade. They exist because they exist & are part of the whole fabric of Nature. They would be here whether they were humans or not. Many species have predators, insects, dangers to contend with. That’s Nature. Perhaps you are a bot from the provincial government…
Non horse people will find fault with many things especially because their idea of a horse and their care comes from watching videos or reading books etc about horses that are domesticated. These are wild horses. People put salt out for other animals. People put feed out for all kinds of animals living in the wild. Salt is a needed mineral for most living mammals. Many animals will feed along roads especially in Northern climates because we humans put salt on the roads. The animals come in the lick eat the salt. Deer elk sheep etc. Then you can end up with animals struck by cars. That is not baiting, it is a result of human animal interactions. These critics have not seen the abuse some domesticated horses have endured from the hands of humans. Its not just dogs and cats. Many other animals are abused as well. It is the unfortunate and unforgivable fact.

They don't understand why they are attracted, they just know where they like to go. Same with salmon. But they move on. The horses are fine.
❤❤❤❤
Thanks for that..!
Good 👍
dude, it does matter! remove the salt lick and wait a few months and see if they return.
Fake account. Hackers.
Thanks🤣🤣🤣
