This guy has more talent in his little finger than most folks have in their entire family history! I hope Joe continues to wow the crowds and not have to do the drugs and alcohol that has ruined so many great musicians before him. Long live Joe Bonamassa!
Great song! This man has tone coming out his fingers like an "ANVIL" hitting you in the face!! Hilarious when the guy finishes his verse! Joes a good sport though. Just made it part of the show. Great Song man.
Ah! What a relief. Back to seeing Boney with no slick suit and attitude, just the original jeans and soul and in touch with his audience. Nowadays the man is still awesome, but I feel he's in danger of disassociation due to his over marketing. That said, his amazing talent shows no sign of dropping away.
This is just awesome, I like the bigger Joe but i also like the the more sleeker looking Joe as well.... I just pretty much love anything he does! He's my guy:)!
I like players who make every note count and are kinda crazy at the same time.^^ Never heard of him but looking forward to checking him out more often.
Older viewers will remember this from the tons of sobs album by Free, new convert to Joe, bought my bruv the latest album to check him out and he loves it , ok by me he buys more albums than me, and I will be buying another of the latest DVD for myself for easter.
Yeah he did a review of a Free album in a guitar magazine and he started it off explaining what Free meens to him and how they kick started his lust for playing guitar etc!
I read some comments below that lets me know that the world is and always will be filled with some of: MONDAY'S MORONS, AND JULY'S JOKES. Its always those wannabes that never will be anything, and because they know that they are less than nothing in every type of way, they have ruinously reasoned that the only way they can fool themselves into ever believing that they are something, is to find a musical talented genius like Joe, and use words to tear him apart. It won't work, Joe is ; THE MAN.
Epic performance ! Even though its now 1o years on it Still Stands Up as Real Tallent Never gets Dated or shows its age, unlike much of the current Shite people are being advised is Tallent, Say What ? ? ?
Here, here! Thanks for saying what so many of us are thinking. You could sense it as the marketing of products took over his site and the ticket prices went up and up and up. Then they went up some more! And more! And the suits came. And the dark shades came to cut him off. I think the man inside is the same and the genius is still as real but his relation with it is shot to Hell imho. Of course he has to make money and he deserves a lot for the pleasure he gives out but... It isn't a "resource" Joe, it's a gift. You tap it too much in worldly terms and it will dry up on you!
You're absolutely right, he has a right to make as much money playing as he wants as long as there are enough people who will pay what he demands. What both of us have said is that it is sad to see him falling down the rabbit hole of putting the "marketing" of his undoubted skill so far in front of loving and sharing it that they aren't even in the same state let alone the same ballpark. To demonstrate what I mean consider Guthrie Govan who I think you may have heard of. He headlines concerts playing with the likes of Joe Satriani and Steve Vai. On the other hand I know first hand that he still gets down to local pubs in his neighbourhood and jams with others for hours for free! I love Joe's playing and his music, but for me it is wrapped up in his original humble attitude to it. I love the Joe in jeans and a T-shirt talking shyly at Blues festivals years ago, I am saddened at the Joe of the tacky shiny suit and slick hair who now spends all of his time hiding behind an exclusive pair of dark sunglasses. Nowadays we have just another guitar demi-God living in a mansion in Los Angeles. That's sad! But, just as you said, it is his absolute right to adopt that lifestyle now he has become successful. It is also our absolute right to not like it, as it is yours to love it! Now I could finish off with another pithy comment like your final one. But I won't, I'm older and wiser.
With this in mind, every guitarist ever like BB King, Stevie Ray, Hendrix, all of em were in for the money. It's a stupid way of thinking. Joe is music, music and blues is Joe, he is not fake, he plays truthfully and soulfully. Compare him with everyday shit so called pop musicians and then come here and talk about Joe's "lifestyle".
Just Got Paid Hey I just got paid Its been a month of Sundays but I just got paid took a twenty dollar bill and went to town took a twenty dollar bill... hey don't love and money make the world go round M.S. Morrison
@stilt37 I hate to start talking about Zakk on a Joe vid, but calling him a shit player is a bit ignorant. He's insanely good, he's just decided to pigeonhole himself into this one style as of late for some unknown (arguably retarded) reason. It's pretty disappointing really. Check out some of his older stuff, Pride and Glory, Book of Shadows, not to mention some of his stuff with Ozz. He's an incredible player, it just seems that the last decade he decided to lose all of his creativity.
Technique ~ Too many f$%^& notes say so little. Silly to see how so many players seem to equate and fall for the notion that playing as many notes as fast as you can has feeling. IMHO it is just showing off and gets old fast. Do yourself a favor and listen to the original Free version where Paul Kossoff says so much with less notes and incredible feeling..
Joe should smoke and drink more whiskey to improve hes child voice,it is not the voice of a bluesman. I think he should put fewer notes in the blues. The blues not only speed, less notes and more soul.
The original version by Free is so much better. I prefer everything about it, even Paul Kossoff’s guitar. This is just showmanship without the guts of Free.
Robin TROWER IS WAY BETTER...All rhis guy has is a gibson . And all of 3 chords. Frank Marino is right... Les paul's are THE WORLDS GREATEST RYTHM GUITAR... BLUES are best left to Trower, Robert Cray & many other players..
This guy has more talent in his little finger than most folks have in their entire family history! I hope Joe continues to wow the crowds and not have to do the drugs and alcohol that has ruined so many great musicians before him.
Long live Joe Bonamassa!
Man, the combination of a Les Paul and a Marshall is a match made in heaven. And damn, Joe could really belt out the vocals back then!
Ain't in no one's shadow anymore. That's for sure. Tone like that deserves applause.
I wouldn't listen to the blues at all if it wasn't for those little more skilled guys like Bonamassa. 1 soul won here!
Great stuff just saw JB in Biloxi 3-4-2022.I’ve seen him several times but it was his best playlist yet 🤘❤️😎
I wish Bonamassa would still be like this today
Great song by Joe, awesome all u can nothing more nothing less!!!!💜❤️💜❤️💜❤️💜!!!! Richard Bishop!!!!
Bonamassa is a living god of blues-rock. I'm on my knees.
One of the best bluesplayers around today! just great!
Great song! This man has tone coming out his fingers like an "ANVIL" hitting you in the face!! Hilarious when the guy finishes his verse! Joes a good sport though. Just made it part of the show. Great Song man.
outstanding. bb king style in the way he phrased his singing & guitaring, sounded absolutely great. wish i was there
Ah! What a relief. Back to seeing Boney with no slick suit and attitude, just the original jeans and soul and in touch with his audience. Best version ever !!!
I like players who make every note count and are kinda crazy at the same time.^^ Never heard of him but looking forward to checking him out more often.
Ah, his guitar work is gorgeous. And that's sayin' something coming from me, because I am an adoring fan of Strat players.
Rock on, darling.
damn, the dude is a legend! I mean, played with your fingers an still getting that tight tone!
This guy is fuckin´awesome.. And he´s got a raw cool voice... God, xcellent sound ..
Joe is amazing and people need to recognize talent when they see it!! JOE IS THE FUCKING MAN!!
Wish I'd been there to hear him live!
Older viewers will remember this from the tons of sobs album by Free, new convert to Joe, bought my bruv the latest album to check him out and he loves it , ok by me he buys more albums than me, and I will be buying another of the latest DVD for myself for easter.

@falkrik Hard to insult idiots when you're not the brightest bulb in the shop! But now there are 4 idiots! Check out that sweet Lester…Rock on Joe
what kind of sunburst is that beautiful les paul? im guessin its a washed cherry but im not sure.
you forgot clapton. hes also a big free fan.
Fantastic! Please listen to the Kossoff+Rodgers original also brilliant.
Epic performance ! Even though its now 1o years on it Still Stands Up as Real Tallent Never gets Dated or shows its age, unlike much of the current Shite people are being advised is Tallent, Say What ? ? ?
My favorite version, Joe is the Man. Now if I can just figure out how to get this tone from one of my Strats since I got rid of my Les Paul.
He always mentions Kossoff, he says that he wouldnt be playing guitar if it wasnt for Kossoff.
2:32 is a brilliant in time woop :)
5:25 lol, funny shit :D
@sdudk I'm with ya !!!!
someone, please upload the original
Wow....even his vocals here confuse me as to how it’s all so focking good.
Joe, if you’re watching, come to Chicago and jam with me.
Tone to the bone

originally done by Free lead singer paul rogers great song
@BIBBBO REALLY!
just an acoustic cover in "Daniele Gigli - Walking My Shadow"... take a look!!
@falkrik
The 4 people at the bottom rated this " Dis I Like!! "
@KennyFishbone
yea ,well almost G,MOORE also had a one of the greatest tone R.I.P
interesting picking
I heard him play the song tons of times....an he never gives 'free' any credit for the song....at least say somthing for paul kossoff rip
He used to be much cooler back then! Today he is more concentrated on making money and business.

EnforcerII a guy doesn't have the right to make money doing what he loves to do? What a stupid comment you just made
You're absolutely right, he has a right to make as much money playing as he wants as long as there are enough people who will pay what he demands. I was in Joe's last concert in Madrid and I love joe but not like vocals, I can disagree or not?
I can see where you could say that how do you feel about Joe singing now all this time? Later, man.
Don't get much better.
@bleedsonyourpannini This version is awesome but the original version by Free is better, i guess because the original got a more intense tempo
@stilt37 I hate to start talking about Zakk on a Joe vid, but calling him a shit player is a bit ignorant. @Fishies125
and gary mooore,it seems to me he has just copied the moore?????

Couldn't agree more. Good version of the song but way to many extra notes. Could have been so much more with a lot less.
Agree TOTALLY --- He actually insults the entire idea behind this song...YUK!
Well, that's just, like, your opinion, man.
Whilst you sit at home behind your keyboard judging successful guitar players who've made millions? Get a grip.
Joe should smoke and drink more whiskey to improve hes child voice,it is not the voice of a bluesman. I think he should put fewer notes in the blues. The blues not only speed, less notes and more soul.

@zakksg13 Clean the crap outta your ears, can tell you aint no player!!!
No not happening
What a shite version of a classic song, Kossoff would be turning in his grave.
th-cam.com/video/V1wWKOAdS38/w-d-xo.html
a filthy insult to real music--Free
Robin TROWER IS WAY BETTER...All rhis guy has is a gibson .
And all of 3 chords.
Frank Marino is right...
Les paul's are THE WORLDS GREATEST RYTHM GUITAR...
BLUES are best left to Trower, Robert Cray & many other players..
