Hey Dave, just for future reference, if you have zip ties that are too short, you can daisy chain several together to make it long enough.

I have fixed plenty of stuff around the TV studios where I have worked with duct tape. It’s the universal tool.

To fix trailer lights, a lot of times you can fold a piece of paper a number of times and jam it in underneath the electrical cord. Or a plastic seal works also. As you put the cord in
Duck tape and paper kept it up pretty good, gotta remember that trick if I ever have that issue. Thanks!

I like to open the door for 90 degrees backs bad habits lol, ohh and coffee stirrer sticks work well for a loose connection. Take the connector out place stirrer where you need it and plug it back in. And bigtex77 has the right idea to use plastic seal also.

When stuff like that happens get you a piece of paper and fold it up and put it underneath of the plug to kind of force the plug to stay in place instead of wiggling around in the socket.

FYI, you can connect zip ties together and make them as long as you need.

Feed the male part of your zip tie to the female part of another zip tie that will make it longer. But red green from the red green show always stood by the handyness of duck tape.

Does CFI allow you to put stickers on your tractor? Maybe you could get one of the RV U.S. destination map stickers to show where you've been
No duct tape ,its wonderful I kno but dot wont be happy with you try zip ties or a tiny piece of wood wedged in there less noticeable until u can get it fixed ,I enjoy your videos keep it rolling!

Hook up to 3 trailers a day, know it my tractor plug that is worn out, slim piece of cardboard/paper works just fine!

If your in a pinch you can connect zip ties together to make them longer.
Shoot I can parallel, straight line back, and crossovers but I can’t do a damn alley dock to save my life lol. I also test out Friday morning and I can’t alley dock lol
The parallel for me was like your alley dock lol. I can do it now but In school parallel gave me the trouble. Alley dock was my favorite

Had the same problem , I zipped tied my pigtail to the blue line never tried duct tape
Put a penny under the bottom of the plug it will keep it from moving around (while it’s in the socket )

It might be your service line connector from the tractor wearing out a little.
But some Dielectric grease and put that on the prints and leads in your truck service line. It will help with electrical connection as well
