This can only come from picking up a guitar with no instruction and inventing his own style. Nobody would have ever taught him to play like that. Because nobody else plays like that. Nobody.
Actually the amazing late guitar artist Michael Hedges developed this style of guitar playing. If you have seen the film August Rush they were very much inspired by Michael Hedges as well. Check out the album “Taproot”.

Im not insulting him in any way. On the contrary I admire his talent. I’ve taken piano and guitar lessons and I couldn’t play neither of the instruments. It wasn’t that I didn’t try or make an effort. Im not good at it. I enjoy music but cant play any instrument. He sings beautiful, plays amazing and he walks while he is doing it. The speed and arrangement...the fills that happen at a million beats per second...the perfect pitches...the slow singing pattern on top of what sounds like audible fireflies. This is by far my favorite version of "Out Loud" because of how real it is. This video shows Alejandro's raw talent in both his mad guitar skills and his amazingly smooth voice. It just melts my heart every time I listen to this. I love how he just walks and effortlessly plays his song like it's something he has done his entire life. Knowing that he has only been practicing music for 5 years is insane to me. Nobody would be able to do these difficult skills together without hard work, talent and a true love for music. I'm not so sure about Alejandro's back story though, it seems pretty incredible that he has only been playing for a few years and has seemed to come out of nowhere. It just melts my heart every time I listen to this. I love how he just walks and effortlessly plays his song like it's something he has done his entire life. Knowing that he has only been practicing music for 5 years is insane to me. Nobody would be able to do these difficult skills together without hard work, talent and a true love for music. And his laugh at the end is so pure and sweet. It's like the cherry on top of an ice cream sundae. :)

This part is not your ordinary headtone line. It's a genius musical representation of how we feel when we can't breathe during situations that our emotions are too high. It's when the lie got you in the door but the time finally came to face the consequences. The song is entirely filled with so much greatness but this was the most stunning part for me. It's such a blessing to be alive when you get to witness such amazing music.

@@DrIstoris John Mayer may be more seasoned and professional and I am a fan of Mayer's and have been watching him play, I even just went back and watched a lot of his guitar solos and no, I think Alejandro is a more talented guitar player and he plays piano extremely well too. I'm not so sure about Alejandro's back story though, it seems pretty incredible that he has only been playing for a few years and has seemed to come out of nowhere. Even his online presence is weird since his facebook and instagram accounts were just created a few weeks ago.
