Happy Thursday everyone! Just a disclaimer for this video, we are super grateful for our house and everything we have but we were having a particularly bad day here and it’s super important to show that as well as the good days 🤍
I love that you show the bad days as well as the good! Stick a pin in the teat to make it a bit bigger until the next size turn up. Or get the variflow teats, which change speed depending on how hard they suck. Can be a bit of a learning curve for them though, so a bib is definitely advised! 😂

I have those days at least 3 times a week. My house drives me crazy and I've no excuses my kids are grown and left home.
That’s what i was going to recommend that @Sonia Butler already said. Just use a sewing or pin needle, warm the needle up a smidge and put it thru the teat. Go Slow and not too far down the needle or you’ll make it too big. This should help until the new ones arrive. Worse case scenereo you’ll have 2 extra teats. Oh and Yes, bibs are advisable 😅
Wardrobes colour the same as panelling and handles the same as ikea drawers, it will look stunning once complete! Keep your chin up guys you’re doing a brilliant job. Some of your delirious comments from tiredness cracked me up 😂

Love this one. It's real, honest and my goodness I completely understand the feeling of being overwhelming. So much to do, no time to do it with newborn babies. I remember crying when my second of five was newborn, I was sleep deprived and couldn't even get a two minutes shower without the baby screaming.
Please know that what you're both feeling is completely normal. I'm exactly the same about wanting things done like yesterday. There will be bad days, bad nights, sometimes they seem endless, but it will pass, I promise 💜
Never stop being yourselves. I adore your content. It's not boring at all, stop those insecurities Fab, you're doing great. It's good to talk, be honest about how you feel so well done.
Ell, you look incredible. Don't beat yourself up if things go wrong, look at what you've achieved. Your house will get done, breathe, breathe. I understand how disheartening and overwhelmed it gets sometimes. I remember getting obsession about when I could sleep. I was so sleep deprived that I couldn't think past the next time I could nap. You are both doing so amazingly well.

I watch you guys because you're so real and grounded so don't ever feel like the vlogs aren't good or entertaining. You're doing a fantastic job and I say that as the mother of a 21 year old. Parenting is hard and you've got two the same age! Give yourself grace, keep communicating your needs to each other, and it will all work out. I remember when we had our twins and the not sleeping eventually gets to you. Living the whole day and night on a tight schedule and not being able to just 'see how it goes ' for once, but having to be prepared for the next step the whole time is just no fun at all. Don't know if that's what you are experiencing as well but sometimes it is just NOT FUN being a twin parent and you're exhausted.
Like an old song says "Some days are diamond, some days are stone." Give yourselves grace. Love seeing those boys together. It's a bond that's unbreakable!!
Love this one too. As parents I think we feel we have to show how everyday is great and we love every minute of it. It’s the most rewarding thing in the world being a parent but my god it’s the hardest thing I’ve ever done. Being in work full time some days would be easier. I think it was so important for you guys to show how not everyday is a win and that’s ok. The boys are thriving and your both doing great so keep it up ❤
Thank you for sharing, you truly are great parents. It’s the hardest job when they are babies, loved Fab enjoying a cuddle moment with both the boys, keep going it does get easier in time. DIY can wait although I do think your bedroom needs to be a sanctuary where you feel comfort and able to rest, you will find the right colour and it’ll be worth the wait xx
After many years of DIY we have finally realised that it’s best to use the same colour paint but in different strengths.
The result is that the surfaces all blend no matter how dark or light.
We’ve sometimes ended up feeling as you are so that’s been the solution for us.
Also have painted the exterior the same colour as inside once again using a lighter shade.
It solved many a dilemma.

The babies are getting so big now, I absolutely agree that this is one of the best stages with them when they learn how to focus & laugh & do silly things. Hold on to this because you think it goes by fast but it's even faster than you think. I have two boys that are 21 & 18 now & when I look at your boys it seems like mine were like that not long ago. You guys are doing such a great job give yourselves a break & credit because you both have accomplished a Damn lot in your house & being New (Awesome) Parents.👍 By the way Fab I don't think you have been Boring in the Vlogs lately 😀.

I think the wardrobe would look pretty in either a clean white or a contrasting color like sage green. As a new home owner and pregnant I totally understand wanting things done.
I just want you to know that your not alone in how you feel, it’s bloody hard being a parent isn’t it. I’m a mum to a 3 year old and a 1 year old, and it’s relentless. Whenever you feel overwhelmed, please just remember that you are doing an amazing job just taking everyday as it comes and with the boys xx

Really lovely video again guys! I dont really watch these types of channels normaly, but what I have noticed is, these real life channels are so much nicer to watch because you can relate! When the channel grows, the content, and the families get a bit too polished. It really looses the reason people watch in the first place. Stay real and everyday, it's nicer to watch for sure. I know what its like to have twins i have 2 sets and even though they'll do a lot of things similar they each have their own personality and its gr8 that you're open about the realistic side of things, especially about how some days will not always go as planned or expected but you seem to still be learning and so are they.

Its okay, and perfectly normal to have stressful days, and feel overwhelmed, even with only one child, and you have two! You're both doing a great job! Just breathe, and take it one day at a time. You wont be perfect, you wont always get things done like you want to, but you are still taking good care of your sweet babies, and that is the most important thing!

Also I don't recommend mixing the paint. Because you could never get that color matched exactly as it wouldn't have a formula they could follow.
Honestly, just getting up and ready with a newborn is an achievement, so to do any sort of DIY with TWINS is insane haha!

Great video - keeping it real. That really does work with the tidying up and it also takes awhile to adjust your expectations to a more realistic level, as babies keep us very occupied, also running on hardly any sleep makes it twice as hard. The boys have beautiful smiles. take care x

Hi Fab, Ell, Noah and Ari, aww guys parenthood isn’t easy at times especially with lack of sleep, I agree that when my house is messy it affects my mental health too so completely understand I remember when my boys were babies it was a struggle at times but when you look at them it’s all worth it. I’m the same as you where whenever I’ve moved somewhere I want it all done there and then and it does get frustrating but you will get there it just takes time. The boys are really getting more alert now taking it all in and looking around and making cute sounds bless them they are adorable. Take things day by day and don’t put too much pressure on yourself I know that sounds easier said than done but your both wonderful parents to your boys. Lots of love to you all xxx ❤

Hi again, I can honestly say it really is the hardest job in the world bringing up children, I don’t think either of you realise how brilliant you are!! They are the most gorgeous little bundles of loveliness ever, you have made them want to smile, and talk back and jus take in every detail of your faces , honestly, there’s no harm in telling it as it is.
I remember making the hole in the bottle(teat) bigger one night when crisis point hit by sterilising a needle and making the milk come out faster like that🤣( not recommended, this was 27 years ago!!)

Hey guys, don’t loose hope, you are doing an amazing job. Just a thought with the bedroom…if you paint your wall colour and panelling darker (and maybe the same colour) then it will make the current colour on the wardrobes look less yellow and tie everything in a bit better as at the moment the colours are white similar so it makes the wardrobes look washed out even though it’s a nice colour? Or paint the wardrobes a much dark colour like charcoal/navy? My walls are slipper satin (a greige colour) and there are white built in wardrobes and they look good together as the darker walls bring out the colour on the built in wardrobe. Hope this helps. Remember you guys always get there in the end, don’t be too hard on yourselves! Xx
Hey Fab nd Elle..I stumbled across your channel and I love the realness of everday life with twins. Its extremely hard with one child let alone 2 but you two have such a great bond with great sense of humour...so lovely too and doing amazingly well. Elle..you aee such amazing wonder woman - love you to bits and Fab - you are incredibly supportive. Trust me it will get easier...you just have ride it through at this early stage. ..................Pro Painting tip over 20 years experience...................
You should apply coat or two of stain blocking primer to stop yellow stain coming through white paint. If the tannins aren’t sealed in, they seep through paint, they can even take their time and show up weeks after you have painted the wood. And it will not go away, no matter how many coats of paint you put over it.

Ell, I have a suggestion for you regarding the wardrobe. Take the paint swatches for the wall and the panelling to a paint store, and take a picture of the wardrobe. Ask them to recommend a paint colour. It will be cheaper for you then replacing it.

Hey guys, love your videos! I think you should paint your wardrobes a darker colour, almost black, and add brass handles to make a feature against the lovely panelled wall. It’ll look amazing 🤩
