have high hopes for this series there is a bit changes in animation from novel. Novel is better than soul land . I hope animation can also live up to novel means. The only thing is novel is 700chapters longs and I don't know how you guys will adapt to that soul land has over 300chapters in novel and ended in 260s. I hope this doesn't take so long like 5 yrs or worse discontinue in middle .

Someone said the novel for this was better than Soul Land but I disagree. Archean Eon Art (Or The Demon Hunter) was a good novel but midway becomes way too boring and longwinded. Hundreds of chapters describing MC's cultivation and bullshit about galaxies, chaos holes and cultivators that could cross solar systems with a single step. Made me feel like I was reading a fake physics textbook.
MC somehow surpasses everyone because they are too old or too injured to get past whatever stage they're in. Characters felt like cardboard cutouts with no personality except being righteous. Of course the not righteous ones got killed off. Even the one villain on Mc's side turned out to be doing it for the sake of mankind. Ending was unsatisfying as well. I remember reading the last chapter and being so pissed off, which is why I was happy seeing the changes they made to the animation. Especially with Mei Yuanzhi.
Novel introduced Yuanzhi as genius of his generation then he barely appears in 2 chapters before failing to get into Yuanchu Mountain and then never been mentioned again. It seemed like author just wanted to make a contrast of Yuanzhi being genius but not getting into Yuanchu Mountain & MC being genius and getting into Yuanchu Mountain. So MC > Yuanzhi. I was surprised to see Mei Yuanzhi being such a big deal in the animation, and having a funny personality. Whoever's doing the writing for the animation is doing an amazing job. Kudos to them.
