I’m near twice your age. You’re a good old boy from Mississippi and I’m so glad you have not had complains of shortness of breath or chest pains lately that you’ve said on camera. Hopefully you had good care from your doctors. Take care of yourself.
Great video David! What an awesome way to show just what a day in the life of David can be like. Take care of that back. God bless! Thanks for sharing!!!
Teaching a man how to jack up a trailer- worth about 10 cents. Watching a good old boy figure it out by himself- priceless! FWIW, Ryobi makes a nice line of cordless impact tools. Hope you get relief with your back. I’ve got a train wreck around my L5 vertebrae. The struggle is real. 👍
Well I’m from Texas! We have a huge hog problem here! I love watching David from Mississippi! Definitely the number 1 hog show on TH-cam! Keep up the good work!
Glad to see your back has let ya start get'n back after'em!!! Hope ya can get all them caught, and save the yards they are destroying. Hope Harlow's recovery process is going GOOD, and you have a GREAT trip and SAFE travels! GOD BLESS ALL!!!!!!👍😊🙏🙏🙏🙏
Being an old guy, a battery powered impact wrench works for me. Since I got one, I quit using my air compressor and air impact wrench. I pulled a big 5th wheel and had 3 blow-outs in two trips, my battery impact sure came in handy when I was off the road out in the middle of nowhere.
I had back problems when I slipped on some ice in Alaska. I ended up getting a “ micro ablation with lamanectamy “ which means they go in and enlarge the nerve track inside the spinal column. Such great relief. I didn’t even need aspirin for pain relief after surgery. There was such great relief from back pain and problems.
On April 17th I had my 3rd shoulder surgery from an old Injury from Navy bootcamp in 1991,I'm 59 and it's been a journey to say the least...Arlo is a tough young Man and after physical therapy he's going be fine God Bless!, I enjoy watching your show 👍😎
Hello David 👋🏾 on the 8th I will be having my right Rotator cuff surgery I had my left shoulder rotator cuff done probably about 25 years ago, but I know both of my shoulders need surgery, but they naturally can only do one at a time so they’re going with the right. Tell your son stay strong. He’ll be back to sports in no time. The hardest thing probably is this the least that’s what’s been hard for me right now Before they found out that my rotator cuff was torn I was in therapy and it was killing me every day I thank God for my family just like I’m sure your son thank God for his family and you too because you’re back. I was really worried about you, but I also have problems as well with my back, but I just wanted to say God bless you God bless your son and your family. Keep up the good work that you do my husband sits and watches and watches your show till two in the morning almost every night. Have a wonderful Sunday stay strong and keep praising God.❤
You were born in 1979 & I graduated High School! 😆 😂 Hope Harlow is back to feeling better & it's good to see your back is healing 😊 Take care & God bless 🙌
Absolutely another spectacular beautiful shooting filming footage compilation documentary countryside content video and you are doing such an amazing job .. have a wonderful blessing weekend to you and your family over there and thanks again David ..
Thanks for the video Mr. Ellis. I hope your back is feeling better. Back pain is not fun when it causes you to be unable to do things which in the end makes your back even worse.
Good Morning David! I understand about the pain of surgeries. The scars to me are battle scars! The p.t. is going to be the hard part. It's so good to see that you're better! No one can keep a good Man down! Good job young Man!
Glad Harlow is healing up and you are up and around. Tire changing the Mississippi way? Darn fine job Brother. Like them old hands used to say. " It aint pretty, but its hell for stout!!"
Good morning David happy Sunday. Everybody’s gonna have their own opinion about changing tires , what I would’ve done is taking the tire off put that one on or just take it to the tire shop
Had this surgery while on active duty, as an old Gunnery Sergeant. I was back to doing pull ups within a month. Haven’t even thought about it until I seen Harlow had the same thing. Like Harlow, had my surgery on the non dominant shoulder. I retired from active duty in 2006, been working for the DoD since and haven’t had one issue. Not only was I swinging a baseball bat normally, I had fairly high handlebars on both my Harleys, and never a second thought to my shoulder, like nothing ever happened. It might suck for Harlow for a quick minute but within a month he won’t even remember the surgery.
Good morning brother happy Sunday morning I'll check the video out later. Haven't got any power and not much data so waiting for wifi. Yall have a good one and as always God bless ya Yawt Yawt 🙏👍
David I watch all your videos and often wonder what do you do with all the meat from your hogs ? THANK YOU FRANK FROM MONTANA.....PS. we don't have any hogs up this way..........
A country jack for a trailer your size: three pieces of pressure treated lumber: 4’, 3’ and 2’6” lengths for something like that. A six inch or 8” max width to keep weight down on board. You will drive(back) trailer onto the stack of board… longest at bottom; two lifts 3”; three lifts 4.5” With dual trailer axles, pull on for rear tire lift (and reverse for lifting front tire). Drill holes in all boards for a pin to be loosely dropped in) to lock layers -- - - - I use a tractor pin (1/2” to 3/4”); drill a 7/8” hole every six inches for 2ft [5 holes] long board needs holes in the middle 3’ for max shift of 2nd board locationing I used 4’ as base layer- you could use 3’6”
Good morning David, as all ways I enjoyed the video. Keep them coming! As far as a trailer jack they have a trailer helper that you pull one wheel on after you get the lug nuts loose and you don’t need a jack. Check them out. God speed to Harlo, Have a good day and God bless
The beauty of 2 axle trailer is no jack needed put a block against the front axle tire and pull trailer forward to raise the back axle up had to do this a couple times over the years neat trick to remember
Great video !! I know u have a strain on ur back when doing things - my husband wears a brace when doing things and helps out allot !! Glad ur son is doing better as well !! 👍🏼👊🏻
A couple years back, I had surgery on my leg and had five incisions with a total of 76 staples. When the nurse took them out, she dropped them in a small pill bottle and asked if I wanted them. I just laughed and said no, I was done with them. Hopefully his arm and shoulder will be back to normal soon.
Hey David. Love the videos . I put a round nose shovel under the tire and use that to line up bolt holes on rims . Works better than using your back . Just saying. Hope you and your son get feeling better . 👍👍👍
Born in 79. That was a good year. I got married that year. You ain't to old yet. But you better start bending them knees when you lift or you'll be a hurting when you get my age. Lol. Not trying to tell you how to do things just a little healthy advice. Love your videos my bro.

We always kept about a 3 ft piece of 4x4, another hunk of 2x8 and maybe some 2x12 on the trailer for just such things. And battery impacts from Harbor Freight are cheap
I wondered if you'd seen the videos of the ring dinger chiropractic. I've seen videos on TH-cam of folks that avoided surgery with this method. I'm looking for one close to me!! I could see you doing your turkey call after your adjustment 😂
On trips, I carry a light aluminum jack like you have, a few pieces of 4x4 lumber, and a cordless impact with various sockets. Can't be messing around on the side of a highway.
If there’s a Discount Tire store nearby, they’ll fix the flat for free. Might want to stop by Walmart and pick up a tire repair kit (plug) for about $10 (green packaging).
take a 6x6 about 3 ft long. cut from the bottom of the 6x6 up to the top of the 6x6 half way of its length so you have a slope from bottom to the top going half way then levels out. set it in front of the good tire after loosening the flat tire lug nuts. pull trailer up onto the tapered 6x6 stopping when the good tire is up on the flat part of the 6x6. your flat tire will be off the ground . it saves you a lot of headache and i believe is way safer than a jack. hopefully you can understand what i am trying to explain to you. works great
Hey brother great video and enjoyed it now we got power and safe travels my friend and see ya on the next video take care and God bless as always Yawt Yawt 🙏👍

Lower front jack on trailer block up the back where the tailgate is and raise jack on front works every time no floor jack needed

add a snatch block to the center of the light bar. will give you high angle to get hogs over end of trailer.
Keep em videos coming enjoy em even though you put me in panic mode early this morning with Mother’s Day 😂😂

I hope you’re son! Get well soon! Thanks for sharing! 👌👍
Attach a pully to the upper cross bar and run your cable thru that, will make it easier to pull hogs up on the trailer.

Hi David and everyone. You look like you're feeling better
Little bit
The center of your floor Jack Head should screw out to give you a 3” to 4” increase elevation.
I was thinking about this, puttin the board under the Jack ? Maybe 🤔
That’s my suggestion too.
Glad your back is better!!! ❤
Watching this from all the way across in the UK. All stay safe over there
Good stuff Yawt, as always!
Stay blessed, glad you're feeling better. God bless brother
Slide the 2x4 under the jack....keep it from sinking in the dirt and give you the extra height
Hey David you might want to put a block under there 😂
😂
Hey love your videos free advice put lug nut back on when you let the trailer down wheel could fall off with weight of trailer
On single axle yes.
Yeah David, see if she’s ready to see you!!

Check the tire size against the other ones on the trailer.
