The difference however with the PMA is that, even the PMA has to undergo the halls of PAFFS to become a pilot! PAFFS has a rich legacy - the namesake of Villamor Air base,Jesus Villamor, was once a Dodo. Mabuhay ang PAF!

May kaisa isang muslim Officer Candidate ang Cl of 2022. Naka note sa mess hall ang mga hindi kumakain ng pork, blood and any other food dahil sa religion or health.

Hi Alejandro. My dad is in the U.S. Navy. Air force training at the U.S. and here in the Philippines are a little bit of a similar. So, BMT (Basic military training) is the first training phase. Which would last about 6 weeks. : ) And 2 years in the Air force academy. You also need 72 college units too. You're welcome!
Hello, tanong ko lang po. May waiver ba ang age and height for military pilot training? 28 na po ako and five feet lang po ako. I heard na 5'2" ang height requirement and 26 max. :( It may seem shallow, kasi madaming career sa airforce, pero gusto ko talaga maging piloto.
Hi! The age limit is up to 29 years old, as long as you are a baccalaureate degree holder and physically & mentally fit then you are qualified to join. The dates of the exam depends on your location, so check the paf website for more details. Goodluck! :)
Cs is for enlisted personnel, needs at least 72 units. While PAFOCS on the other hand should be a degree holder, and will later be commissioned as 2lt. after training phase
