At 6:13:50 you pass through our family’s ranch 💪🏼 always a pleasure to come out and watch you all 🙏🏼
How many sticks do you guy have?
This has been a blast riding along. Jax is super smooth. I rode this course in 1984 in the other direction with Malcolm Smith and Company. I will never forget those rocks after Mike sky Ranch entire roads made out of rocks.
Thanks for putting up the whole race.
Awesome ride along footage sped through some but kick ass job guys!!!!
the in car camera makes it look so smooth/ you really have the suspension dialed in for a good ride
Wow! What a great video! im a speed junkie, and my butthole was puckered the entire time!! What i would give to ride in one of those amazing trucks, just to feel that raw power, handling, and amazing suspension! What a rush!!
Props for sharing! Looks like your gifted talent so be patient and good things will come
I wish I was sitting navigator
Thanks for sharing
WOW WHAT A RUSH, NOWT IN UK ANYTHING LIKE IT, KEEP THE LOUD PEDAL ON THE FLOOR!!!!!!
Very nice Vid!But maybe next time some telemetrical data like RPM,KmpH,and Gear!😃That would be awesome!
thanks for sharing , best of luck on the b1k
Killer video, but the audio doesn't seem to be synced correctly
Audio is perfectly synced, it's the smoothness of the camera stabilisation which tricks you into that conclusion.
Keep up the grind
At first when you hit the sand I was like why is he going so slow now then bang I was like maybe he should wanna slow down a bit 😅😎 your skill is amazing.
Así me gustan los vídeos, que sean completos. Gracias por compartir. Buena suerte en la Baja Mil.
2nd driver just seemed to gradually give up the chase and race, Wore out maybe jax you did a good job, i watched the whole thing over a couple of days. Flat lost a bit of time but the 2nd driver lost more time it looked to me. Good finish. I first went threw a lot of that at the 75 Baja 1000. Brings back memories
It’s called a team for a reason. Everyone does what they can; and no damage, no medical is a blessing. peace
Wow ! What fun!
Thanks Jax, Gracias, buen video, great, Chingon.
This is something else
POV: Me every time I’m picking the kids up from school 😂
Saludos desde la paz b.c.s México gracias por video
🏁💯🏁
Nuts! It's so smooth?
This is very cool, but it needs telemetry.
gracias
Hey good good Baja mike walser Brother good yes go he’ll Run Run good 😮😮😮❤❤
i'm surprised there hasn't been a massive racer/ spectator accident between all the forms of racing that allow spectators to observe from right next to the track, WRC, hill climb, etc. pic is great, gyro-stabilized camera? those helicopters would be looking for me, if i hadn't crashed already i would damn sure be lost. went to Mason to look at the trucks and remembered that the 911 we campaigned in GT/U IMSA in 78 was built by Mason, not sure if it was this Mason but it seems reasonable. it had an aluminum roll cage.
👍👍
what does the beep mean? checkpoint? cool video
Los esperamos en próxima baja mil 2023 sabes tengo un sueño de subirme a un tropy yo creo sería comparable cómo ir a la luna para mi saludos
splashy bit at 1:43:50 : D
Was the truck running low on fuel towards the end?
The middle of the race sounds very different from 15min in
Great run but what a shame after such an intense race, that they make you come in to that ridiculous slow finish. What a buzz kill. Whoever thought ending a race with a max speed limit needs to be fired and never allowed to have anything to do with motorsports again. Its a fucking race, let them race to the end.
Why do you go through long sections on the rev limiter?? Confused Aussie! Thanks for quality upload, this was awesome.
P.S. What is the purpose of your co-driver? Sorry if my questions are silly, I'm very interested.
Since no one answered. Baja "races" have parts of the route shared with public vehicles. These are public roads, and speed limits are a thing.
Unless you mean the few places he's on the actual rev limiter. All the ones I've seen so far, are top speed. (No more gears)
Edit2: co-driver, is the navigator that helps keep the driver on route, and ready for turns before they can be seen. They usually have books indicating all the turns, with notes.
@@kwaad2 Thank you, yes I meant when they are just putting along on the speed limiter and then when they reach a certain point they back on wide open throttle. Cheers Sean.
What happened at 30:23, and other times? Seems engine went into and out of limp mode several times during race.
We have speed zones haha
@@jaxredline8158 Sure enough, looks like there was 13 Speed Zones (for accuracy they should be called slow zones), some 60mph the others 37mph.
That was my second guess, but some of the slow sections were not around anything.
Great race thanks for sharing! Looks like you got 6th congrats!
@@heartsky yep you got it that’s correct. Highways/high traffic areas they do that to us for safety
Min 5:13:07 i was there
Y la 500?
1:10 is way to long baja fools , would have done it under 28 lol
how about real time stats, rpm, gear, temps etc. it would make this much more interesting. 😴
takes 4 days to export this video haha would have to download all on phone, add stats and then put on youtube. Could do it would just takes weeks of loading 😴
Just out of sheer curiosity.... What do you suppose he topped out on the highway at? 140ish?
146 i believe
Hey good good Baja mike walser Brother good yes go he’ll Run Run good 😮😮😮❤❤
