- A CRANE has arrived on the Hyperia site following its recent temporary closure! Alongside that engineers continue work on the lift hill of the ride plus a vehicle is bringing in wood slates which I believe are to provide a foundation for the crane! Hyperia is said to be opening on Thursday however Thorpe Park Resort will provide updates prior to the day! Hyperia remains closed as work continue to take place with its construction!

Who thinks it will open on thursday?!
I think it will reopen by Thursday
I really hope it does though I'm going in September I really love watching it going around and people having a magical time on hyperia
Yes. My money is we will see testing on Tuesday. And I would think Mack staff probably wouldn’t have left site yet.
Have a feeling no. I'm there Thurs and Fri so desperately hoping it is!
Me.
Jack silkstone been real quiet since this one dropped
🤣
who wouldve thought we would be getting more hyperia updates after the opening day!
thank you for the update all the other youtubers have gone awol since this issue occurred.
Yeah because they all went on launch day and the day before on the press event. They don’t wanna call it for what it is. Embarrassing. Appreciate these things happen but crazy it’s broken already tbh.
I’m so happy I got to ride it in opening day, I wasn’t going to go as well
I personally think they knew about this before opening!. they just didn't want to miss the opening date
Not a chance in hell that that's the case, firstly it wouldn't pass the safety tests, secondly it makes no sense why they would take the crane away knowing its incomplete to then bring it back in and shut the ride down again, thirdly the costs this involves and the fact that it would look better on them just delaying opening than shutting it down on the day and having to also shut Saw the ride down because of it also.
What a brainless comment ......
@@nemesis8626 I agree. Owenjohn is talking out of his ar*e
@@nemesis8626 think about it! A lot of money would have been laid out for opening day and the press opening. A little Problem on the lift hill wouldn't affect the running of the ride(pretty sure Mack would have been adamont on this subject). Also the fact they have already given a new opening date suggest what ever was required to sort the problem was already been shipped to the park. It's not hard to get a crane in place.( pre booked for said problem)
@@owenjohn1192 they didnt know about it stop yapping
Sprocket bearing I think
Worker confirmed it is to do with the chain lift
It no suprize being new as well these things happen is it meant to do that noise going up the lift hill?
The noise is those anti-rollback things that stick out on the lift hill.
I really hoping so for others who have yet to experience it
It's the lift hill chain that has a "problem"
i think it could be that the lift chain snapped or has got something wrong with it and needs to be replaced
Update it now looks like that Thorpe cannot reopen Hyperia until Saturday the 8th of June
It should do.
I’m so annoyed about this, I’m going with my school on the 4th, and they’ve said that they think it’ll be the 8th it’s open, I’m so upset 😔
Im sure they just confirmed it will be closed till the 8th june
Why is there so much people in the queue while it’s closed?😂 hoping for the best I see
They waiting for the park to open I think
Maybe somethings jammed in the lift
Pretty sure they knew about this before opening
Makes no sense, do you realise how much it would cost to bring a crane back and start working on it again? Also rollercoasters have very high safety standards, you think they purposefully took the crane away knowing it was incomplete and risk peoples safety? It wouldn't pass the tests and if a big accident happens Mack and thorpe park would potentially get sued for millions and potentially have to shut the park completely if they ran a rollercoaster they knew has faults. If a rollercoastee isn't complete the opening gets delayed.. its as simple as that, it looks way better on the park to delay opening than to open it just to shut it 2 days later
@@nemesis8626 another one who's talking out of his/her ar*e
Maybe, or there might be another issue found because of this issue.
Heard it’s the coggs
The top of the lift was extremely loud, could be heard from the other side of the car park and in Penton Marina
B&M sabotaged it 🎢
I think not
IT WILLL PLS IM GOING ON THURSDAY LOL
mackprodukt
I don't think it will be
