Your right about gear to a point. That point is when hunting other game than whitetail. if you are hunting western game and spending time out in the mountains your gear does make a very big difference. But like you said I am old and experience does count on success! Great channel and info for the new guys, and girls learning to hunt.
Last season was my first and I only had access to public land and with your advice I actually saw deer just couldn't tag one this year I have private land so with your tips I know I will be able to fill a tag! Private property or public, the biggest thing is be patient!!! Hunt from the edges and slowly move in. Always hunt the wind ! There's so much to hunting and become successful. Good luck to you 😁
