this game had one too many cutscenes but the combat was fun as hell
It was also difficult to a degree that was not fun at some points. Going guns blazing was basically asking to be deleted because enemies did so much damage and you had so little health. But god damn, were those fucking axe executions brutal as shit. Like, Doom Eternal is great, but Wolfenstein: TNC had some of the most brutal executions of any game I’ve ever played, and they never got old. Petition to give the Doom Slayer a hatchet.

Also some of the contraption perks made no sense. Why does the Ramshackle, which is all about close range, get cannon arm, which let's you throw axes and grenades farther? That should go to the stilts, since that's for tactical, long range play. And why do the stilts get the perk that gives you health for kills? That should go to the Ramshackle.
James Brod I feel the armoured suit should’ve completely protected you from bullets. Even when you had 200 armours, you’d still go down so fast because of your pitiful 50 hp cap.

Yep. Originally, Doomguy is the descendant of BJ Blazkowicz. I’m not sure about Doom Slayer since there’s the whole Night Sentinels and Argent D’Nur thing.
@@diamondmetal3062 Since Doom Slayer and Doomguy are the same person then yes it still applies. Though MachineGames BJ and og Wolfenstein 3D BJ are to separate people. In the og universe the Nazis never won WWII while in the MachineGames universe they did. Also in the original universe BJ would have Commander Keen who would go onto have Doomguy. In the MachineGames universe BJ has 2 daughters instead of a son so no Doomguy counterpart exists in the MachineGames universe. I see people saying BJ will break Doomguy out of his tomb at the end of TAG2 but since MachineGames BJ has no family ties to Doomguy so has no reason to seek him out considering the legend of the Slayer and Hell hasn't been uncovered by the Nazis yet but who knows give it time and the Nazis may stumble upon Hell.

He was a scared man, and he wanted to protect BJ from becoming what he had, a pathetic shell forced into hiding and kissing boots just to live. It was the toughest most toxic "love" you could think of. In the end, he succeeded. His son could stand on his own 2 feet against any storm, but it sucks he went about it the way he did.

@Helva probably. The games lore isn't really fleshed out yet (Yes ULTRAKILL has lore). The yellow computer at the start of every level that gives you info on enemies doesn't really have much depth yet even for other machines like Swordsmachine, the Streetcleaners, and V2

Ah the courthouse...made me feel close to being doom slayer. Much rage was had in that level, the rest of the game was a breeze.

Because there are people who cannot comprehend that it's possible to make a game about Nazis without having the game make Nazis appear as some kind of deity. Because there are people who believe that if a certain work mentions Nazis, then that piece of work is pro-Nazi and thus, must be stopped. And those kind of people run TH-cam. Hell, even making a song that's related to Nazis is bound to get you in trouble, especially if you're gonna play that song in Germany. At least READ THE DAMN SCRIPT AND USE YOUR BRAIN TO DETERMINE IF THE SCRIPT IS PRO-NAZI. Some German politician tried to ban a band, Sabaton, from singing in Germany because their concert was going to sing about the Holocaust.
