What a great piece for beginner violinists! Everything can be played in the first position and nothing is too technically difficult. My son plays piano and I've been learning violin for a few months, and I think this would be a great piece for us to play together.
@@hassansoliman970 Yes, actually! I've pretty much got the first movement down and I'm working on the second movement now. =) I've shown the piece to my son's piano teacher, and she thinks he should be able to learn the piano part.
@@Moohasha1 This is adorable! God Bless you and your family. You might want to consider "Amy Beach romance for violin and the piano", it's very advanced yes, but its an excellent target to set :)
@@aliciacharlene2442 Regardless of your age or grade, if you've been playing violin for more than 6-8 months I think you'll do fine. It's all first position without any tricky techniques. It has lots of scales and arpeggios, so it's pretty easy to learn.
I stopped playing violin 2 years ago and made a switch to classical guitar and then electric, i always had this urge to start playing violin again. After my midterms i'll pick up my violin and gonna start again. I'll keep playing my electric and classical too, it's gonna be kind of challenging but going to give it a shot.
i have 3 moths learning the violin and I've been practicing this piece for weeks... I've finished all the movements, but I have to improve my intonation and pay more attention in some passages and I also dont know how to do the vibrato yet, but it's a fun piece to practice
The vibrato has taken me a while , only started to take the vibrato seriously a year ago. Intonation seems to be something that can always be worked on . Luck :-)
Rimlight I finally listened to the Itzak Perlman performance of the Rieding B minor . Beautiful tone. The cool thing is if you start to get the vibrato going , & in general improve the bowing on long notes , all those "boring " pieces with the 'long' notes start to be real interesting 😀
o quê?! 3 meses e já tocando isso? você é uma prodígio!!! essa peça normalmente é tocada lá pros 2 anos de estudos no mínimo seguindo uma rotina constante e diária. Parabéns se você toca ela mesmo! :v
A fine example of what a good musician can do with a technically very easy piece that is entirely in the first position (open strings are used frequently).
Literal muy literal me pasa lo mismo pero es mejor intentarlo primero sin las ligaduras lento hasta dominarlo y luego agregarle lo del arco y los movimientos
@@auurastaorsteinsdottir3427 This piece is so easy to play, you could play it underwater with your hands behind your back while taking a nap. I don't see the point of it. Far too simple and no memorable themes. It's the kind of thing one could improvise on the spot.
@ShKhari2 Nothing difficult though. All first position, simple key, easy rhythm, not too fast. It's like one if those Oskar Reiding pieces. They all end in a flurry of quavers with doubled notes and two dramatic chords as though something awesome just happened when in fact nothing has!
@ShKhari2 One can't play the Tchaikovsky concerto only in the first position so your comment does not make sense. Admittedly there are other things which make a piece tricky. Tempo, key, double stopping, harmonics, string crossing etc etc, but I mentioned some of those and this piece contains non of them to any degree. It maybe not totally standard for people to play this after a few weeks but there are plenty of Koreans who get thrashed to practice by their tiger parents who could knock a trivial piece like this out in short order. As for being a gatekeeper, I will call it as I see it. The You Tube viewers want to see the truth. I will tell people what is trivial or crap or tricky or brilliant and people will be all the better for it!
I’ve been playing this piece for 3 days straight non stop and loved I don’t play violin However, I play with my Flute.. there are few note is low register I make exceptions for low or middle octaves (flute). I would like to play this very soon. (recording). Flutist is beautiful piece when I do dynamic and expressive( interpretation feeling).
Working on this piece right now. (Which is why I looked up this video). I seem to have the same sheet music too as it has the same violinist notations. :)
7:07 may be easier to start in third position, 2nd finger on A (🎼E) V indicates an upward, anti-downward bow (important in orchestral play) stroke, similar to the crescendos these indications need to be attended to thru-out
Is there an recording of only the piano part available somewhere for little ones to enjoy a concert when no accompanist is available (like here in rural south Africa)
