i thought the vocalist did a great job. some people just aren't happy unless it is EXACTLY how it is done on the album. the guy singing has a lovely voice, and i would expect to hear it on a song by a more depressing band (not that that is a bad thing, it would just suit it).

Also Chad Smith said that in this song you have to play simple for doing well the song. Fantin has played it in a simple way and he did a great job ! Good luck to you and to Deep Kick!

I have my own opinion about how I would have improved my vocals, but I'd like to know yours. Feel free to be subjective or technical. There is something I don't like in it, I'm curious to know if it's the same for you. At least it didn't help you from liking the whole =)

To tell you what's disturbing me, there is a strange, opera-like sound on my voice on the powerful parts, that I couldn't hear while singing. It sometimes happens on certain recording and I don't know why. As for the whispered part, and the high pitch at 4:10, I'm pretty satisfied with the result. However...

Everything is perfect except the drums. You could have added fills in. Also, the actual way is kick, snare, kick, kick, snare-not kick, kick, snare, kick, kick, snare. I was trying to feel it but the drums kept coming back to me. You could have also added little snare, kick, snare, kick-type build-ups before the chorus. Other than that, you could havd lied about the drums being boring, but you didn't -props to you man
