Awesome St. Augustine vids, man. One of my favorite places; my girlfriend and I visit constantly. I can certainly sense your appreciation of this amazing city. Would love to buy you an ice cold beer one day.
I love the way you interact with the locals. Always time for a chat. That's cool. Very nice town too, would love to visit it. Beautiful old architecture, good food and nice people. A shame I'm from/living in the Netherlands. O well, "sigh"... Thanks for sharing this awesome place with us... Thumbs up.
I only live 45 minutes away from St. Augustine and continue to visit there often. I just love the atmosphere and the people there. Going during the Holidays the whole city is covered in lights. I would defiantly recommend it if you haven't already.
I was looking for information about the oldest city, and found this video. I will probably also be visiting on a Monday in September, so the crowds will be similar. How much time do you recommend for the street, the castle, and the pirate museum? I love your perspective, as well as your taste in films. GOONIES NEVER SAY DIE!
Awesome! You'll have a great time. I spent a good 3 hours in the castle before and had plenty to do. They have the people dress up on the weekends only I think. The pirate museum is actually pretty small, so you could do that in an hour easy. but there's lots to see though. and I could spend all day on st George street! Love it. the more time the better! Have a great time man!
Thanks for the info! I plan on spending the whole day, and might even do Fort Matanzas on the same day that we do Marineland later in the week. I'll be sure to wear my Goonies shirt when I visit the Pirate Museum, and tell them Matt from MattsRadShow sent me!
i love going to the shops its been awhile but hopfully at the middle of march i will come back up that way from when i go to orlando...hahah love that guy..he loves the goonies and the teenage turtles..i do too..haha your so funny.you make my day.keep up the good work
Awww man, I miss Monks Vineyard and Hank so much! 🥹 I miss sharing my dark heavy beers with him and chatting for hours with good people while we drank great beers. Really great times in a special place with an awesome person. St Augustine is not the same without Monks!
I wonder what type of school house would be older than a wood one. Perhaps adobe. Oh, and by the way St. George St. is haunted too. Eight years later listening with the playback speed slowed down to 0.25 I'm hearing "Hello !" starting at 2:21-2:22 - "Hey!" starting at 3:12. Very cool.
Maybe you next video you can try that. Its fun, st augustine is my hometown and I must say I love it. I've lived in south carolina for about four years and I want to move home so bad
Im up there about 10 times a year and im only a couple hours away, its like my second home. Pretty sure i saw you there filming the fort episode during the rain part, funny how i stumbled across your videos now! So yes, sweet, please do more st augustine videos!
Hey this is the magician at 13:42. I want to start by saying that I was 3 monster energy drinks in, and very...like...frazzled from the day. It's weird to look at =X But, really....DID corey feldman play donatello? XD
That alley going towards columbia resturant is called rubber band alley. I grow in st augustine, we called it that cause if you run up and down the alley and clap it sounds like rubber bands bouncing off the walls
My school in 2008 went to St. Augustine; we sadly didn't see the extent of what this historic city has to offer. We saw the Castillos de San Marcos, the Authentic Old Jail & st. George St. My school rushed through this beautiful place so I didn't get to take in the sights, sounds and feel like I wanted. Though that experience was bad, it hasn't stopped me! In August - September of this year we're going back to see what more this historic gem has to offer! Hopefully I can browse the stores of St. George better than before! Any restaurants to recommend/attractions? Would love to know!!
Jennifer Davis Everythings really cool there. Thats whats so great about it. You can just show up and start walking around and you'l find someplace cool to eat at or grab a drink or do some shopping. I would stay around St George street for all that kind of stuff. Once you travel away from that area, you start to loose the attractions. Just grab one of the tourist maps when you're there. they'll show you where everything is. Lots too see. Scarlett Ohare's Restaurant and bar is really cool. Flagler College is really cool. The old churches, the lighthouse, Good pizza shops everywhere. Have fun!
matt...need more trips to st augustine .....more on the fort, and the other places that are of interest...love your videos....love the talks to the patrons and visitors.... the san sebastian winery...good spot

Dawn Permenter I have a couple more episodes coming from St Augustine, but am moving so after that might be awhile. I love it there though!
I asked hank about selling his shop. Offered half a mill and it's almost like he wanted to spit in my face. XD
Oops. Yeah I think he is asking a Million more then that.
