You know whats weird? Chrysler only makes power in 4 cylinders & 8 and 10 Cylinder motors. The fact you can build a 4 cylinder that does 800HP at the Crank with an SRT-4 motor is pretty cool. Its too bad you don't see more done with the 6 cylinder power plants.
Autos can only hand around 400hp to the wheels max but the autos are only $80 a pop at the junk yards its the same auto that is in the non turbo but if you keep up with maintenance on the auto itll be fine that and add bigger trans cooler
I Don't know know much about them but very underrated. I remember at the time ppl where going craY because supposedly dodge underrated the Horsepower in the SRT engines. For insurance I guess lol I don't know. I think they advertised them at 250 but they were getting like 280 at crank lol tough little engines
Is that front bumper completely custom or were you able to buy it somewhere? I have a customer who wants a badass pt cruiser and we both love the look of your car (which is saying a lot for me because I HATE pt cruisers)

Actually that's the gt manifold it's made of metal good rule of thumb if it's black it's a plastic one if its silver and smooth its a metal one
common version of 2.4 without turbo also has analog of turbo intake

It's a aluminum manifold, I had a gt, 1st gen is metal, 2nd Gen GT is plastic

The Chrysler Crossfire SRT-6 was a supercharged v6 that made good power but Mercedes designed most of it
@@wolfemancola the crossfire SRT-6 had the 3.2 M112 AMG Supercharged V6 from the C32 AMG. SRT never made a 6 cylinder performance engine

I think i read it had a dcr 2.6L engine in it.
At the time of the 162 mph pass it was the 2.4 chrysler motor .. Juan is a legand in or circles
it's the factory Pt Cruiser GT motor 2.4L Turbo (also in Neon SRT-4) but heavily modified
