    Bought this pdf and another one, it is outstanding! A lot of information to absorb and practice. One question should I be thinking of the chord or scale degrees or note names while practicing the exercises? Thanks again.

      Thank you so much for supporting the channel!
      Ultimately, I would recommend doing both. Using the scale degree will help you understand the relationships and intervals between notes. It will also assist help you transpose things to different keys. The relationships and intervals stay the same while the note names will change key to key.
      Of course it’s good to know the notes names in every key too!

    I started this exercise after seeing this clip a month ago, already feeling the results. Soon I'll try the same in harmonic minor( my favorite) thanks a lot

      @@GregoryAgid why does the Dm7 not have a F# I know it is in the c major scale. But Dm7. Is Dm7. Right

      Hey Lynda, thank you for the question. This is a diatonic exercise, therefore all of the notes of this exercise will come from the home key of C major (no sharps/no flats). We are simplyijng using the c major scale to make 7th chords.
      Also- Dm7 is D minor 7. Which means we have a b3 and b7. We lower the F# and C# to an F and C.
