What's the difference between half-duplex and full-duplex? Half duplex communicates in one direction at a time. Full duplex communicates in both directions at the same time.
Im soo glad i found your Channel. Im a visual learner, and reading books on networking / listening to someone explain has been very challenging for me. This helps me understand and retain the concepts so much better. Thank you. Im sure it must have taken a of time to prepare such informative content. I really appreciate the effort.
Where had you been all my life? Thanks for your videos. It never was so easy to understand some A+ and Network concepts. Thank you so much, keep up the good work!
Awesome! Thanks a lot! Please add more videos on this channel. I really like how you make the things simple! Networks books usually are not easy to understand..
Sir, on behalf of your viewers, you need to know that your content is nothing short of great! Although I'm educated on the subject matter, your videos do a great job at articulating what are otherwise abstract concepts for the laymen. I assume these are PowerPoint presentations; if so, is there any way that we can access your slide decks? These are great for those of us who teach these topics.
Thank you for your animation video ini the networking knowledge. I always explain the subject about networking to my students using this video. It's verry usefullly.
Thanks for the outstanding animated learning resource. The offline PDF's you sell are outstanding and easy to utilize tools also. Thank you again, and please keep them coming.
Hey there, great video! Your channel is a godsend. Could you make a video about the OSI model? I hear about osi layers all the time, but I would love a good explanation.
Reading all the comments saying how their teachers are useless because they don't know how to explain this simple concept as concise as in this video (my teacher included).
This video should maybe also have touched on the subject of Simplex. It's the third variant. The signal is going in one direction only. The best example would be a TOSLINK S/PDIF fiberoptic cable. So a Full Duplex solution is actually just two Simplex solutions set up in opposite directions.
Ok question. I want to add a nic to my server and my video editing workstation that is direct for data only but use full duplex. I found a switch which supports full duplex. Will this increase the speed the raw files are pulled from the nas to the workstation? As i have ssd on each side one where the raw files will be and one for my scratch disk.
Hello, thanks for the delivery, I will ask you a question .. if in my area half duplex (AU915) is used and I have a full duplex device (US915), could it operate?
how would this apply on a lapton connected with lan? i set it up to half duplex because full duplex kept disconnecting. would this interfere with calls voIP calls
Hi, I have a doubt. Is simplex is not part of this technology? Thank you somuch for the work you are doing to make me understand the technology very easily..

A question, you mention CSMA/CD in half-duplex, is it not needed in full-duplex then?
Correct.
All conversation in every movie, ever, is half duplex.
