Hi mate, In 87 I went to the UK from NZ, on a working holiday, and got a job as a motorcycle courier. The company supplied my first bike, a Honda XBR500, but i bought a GPZ500S off a guy returning to NZ, and used that as my work bike, and personal transport. It was a great little bike and took me to many destinations in Europe, as well as 100 miles a day as a courier, never let me down once, and was surprisingly quick for a 500 twin. Would love to find one now to get around on, but i haven't seen one in NZ for years.
that is a credit to you Derek keeping it in such condition but no point just keeping it and not really using it I hope someone cherrishes it like you have. good luck

Really nice bike Deg. It has some interesting details that nowadays bike don't have anymore, at least most of them, like the 16 inch wheels, two helmet locks and such a low seat. Didn't really get it, this is the USA model? I like it in this white. I remember mostly these were in metallic red. :) Hope you get right owner for this bike. Keep going Deg. Soon you will hit the 400 subs. p.s. You uploaded another video today, I think. Will watch it tomorrow. :)
