Somebody asked for it, so here is the water sample if anyone is interested! www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/cqp7mwqhi0c543rgcvtp0/Water.syx?rlkey=9lunlfi5gd6gldo9crxtutkbh&dl=0 It's a .syx file. The Texture Lab instruction manual has some info on how to import samples on pages 35 and 71: www.sonicware.co.jp/DL/LIVEN_TextureLab/DOC/TextureLab_manual_en_r2.pdf
Very interesting as always! I love the machine like noises you get from this sample at around 13 mins onward, you'd never be able to guess the source from that. It's pretty endlessly explorable this machine tbh 😁👌
Time is relative to your life span. If your lifespan is a month then the slower time goes by for you. That’s why flies and bugs look like they are moving so quickly. To them we are moving extremely slowly. Their time perception is slowed down. We hear sharp little squeaks but the noise they are producing are beautiful trumpet horn sounds. My theory of course but this pretty much proves it.
Well, I hope it's right so that non-human animals are compensated for their shorter lives (although not all of them are short-lived; there's a shark that can live up to 500 years: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Greenland_shark)
Thank you! I'm up to 20 tutorial videos now, which feels a but excessive at this point haha... Btw, the almighty algorithm hasn't been showing your stuff in my feed for a while, but I see you've posted quite a bit since the last time I saw anything, so I'm going to go check some of it out!
@@wholeheartedsongs I guess it's probably because 90% of what I've been watching the past 6+ months has been guitar-related videos, so it's just shoveling those at me now...
Thank you! I recorded the sample with a Zoom H4N Pro, but you could record audio just as well with one of the cheaper Zooms, like the H1N. For importing, I just run a line out of the Zoom, into the Texture Lab, and manually re-record it onto the Texture Lab-but you could also convert an audio file into a SysEx file and then import it via file transfer. The support page on the Sonicware website has instructions and a converter for doing that.
I was at that stream two days before you- you stole my sound. I want it back. That is my stream sound. Give it back. 😀 Another very good and interesting vid from you. I use one of these and feel this is such an under-the-radar piece of lovely technology. Like truly nothing else.
@@ejb5659 I know, I know! I've done some stuff with a sampled piano in the past, but it was arpeggiated notes played in octaves and fifths so that I could play it chromatically on the keyboard: th-cam.com/video/LEVZ9PavnQU/w-d-xo.html
I'm not sure. Normally, it would be an obvious thing for me to get, but I'm pretty broke at the moment, so I shouldn't... which doesn't necessarily mean I won't lol
@@ShamazMusic My channel recently passed the 1k subscriber monetization threshold, and I'm now making $0.50-$1.00 per day in ad revenue, so I guess the channel could pay it off in like a year or two 😂

Thank you, sir! And yeah, it's pretty wild what you can come up with on this thing!
I like the moment when you're turning from a broken radio into wild boar territory at around 15.00 and after 😉
Haha, thanks, that's a good way of describing it!

@@SonicCartographywow that is amazing. You have mastered it clearly. That is weird about the algorithm.

Very nice content. Can I ask what you used to sample with, and how you imported that audio into the Texture Lab ?

lol sorry, but I think the stream is public domain... Anyway, thank you!
@@SonicCartography Totally kidding, of course. I'd like to hear some major piano chords put thru the paces into this synth.

Incredible content. You got my sub!
Thank you! I appreciate it!
Incredible sounds, thank you!
You're welcome / thank you! Glad you liked them!
Interesting and inspiring…thanks!
Thanks for watching and commenting!
put me to sleep in the best way possible
Haha, glad it wasn't in the bad way!
But will you get the Ambient 0 ?
I’ve also been wondering the cross over between the texture and the ambient 0

@@SonicCartography literally the same. Hoping it helps pays it self off eventually 🤷🏾♂️
