Your first girl (the one in shed) looks a lot like my Laverne. She's really light like that, and has similar markings too. No alien heads to speak of. Shirley is a lot darker, and has lots of alien heads. (Jan Griffiths).
Hi Chris. I kept my Normal Ball Python boy. My daughter saved his life in January 2020. I took him in February, after my drive up visit in Washington state. He's a great passager btw❤
Been watching your channel constantly! Used all the information I learned and bought my first normal ball python for $30 on craigslist. He's awesome. Thanks man.
Remember the baby bags you could get from Africa? I was going to buy one several years ago. The 2 normal girls (Laverne and Shirley) I got were from baby bags. They are so different in color. Laverne is much lighter than Shirley, and their markings are different shapes as well. They are 5 years old, and are almost as big as Mildred (champ pastel). They have beautiful babies. (Jan Griffiths).
I have 3 acres, mostly empty. I'm thinking the same. I have a 20 x 40 foot outbuilding I'm using for my snakes at the moment. It is climate controlled, but is also used as storage. I only have 14 snakes at this time though. (Jan Griffiths).
Great video on normals Chris. The greatest thing about normals is the amount of undisclosed hets out there. Also hotting those normal females up with supers, with or with out hets is exciting. Take care dude.
I just got a baby normal female, (het for clown?), for $20 at a reptile expo this past weekend in Gettysburg, Pa. She’s got really busy markings on her belly, and sides. You can’t beat the cheap prices on normals, which I think are still beautiful snake. I think there’re overlooked in the industry, due to all the different morphs out there. What would you get if you breed a normal female with a Mojave, and Pinstripe? Will you still get a multiple gene snake? I know you’ll get normals, which is ok. I’m going to get a adult female to maybe breed with my 2 adult males(Mojave,Pinstripe).
Chris Hardwick - Thanks, I’ll check it out. I’m looking for a adult female Lesser for my Mojave to try and get some Bel’s, but either you can’t find them, or the price is outrageously high!!! ALL adult females seem to command a premium price nowadays!!!
I want an Ultramel. I have a possible het for pied (has the train track markings near the tail) that I'm going to try to prove out this next season. (Jan Griffiths).
If I bred a normal to a multi gene partner, would 1/2 of the offspring be normals? Would the non visuals be het for normal? Or are hets only for recessives?
We just had our first clutch, it was a female vanilla fire, to a male nanny..... Some of those more mustard-colored looking babies with the granite in their side look a lot like some of our fire / vanilla babies
I have a het. Axanthic JL that is super black background and alot of jumbled up markings down both sides of his belly and I swear there has to be more to him then just a het. But wont know for a couple more years till one of my females are old enough but it gets me thinking that is for sure! Lol
My normal female is supposed to be het caramel albino and the guy texted me recently and said it may have pie in it he found out due to this years breeding. I dont know what im going to get but she is one if the fastest growing snakes i have she is about 8-9 months old and 700g. They are still very beautiful snakes and she was $50 i just took her because i was there picking up a banana and figured why not take her. I think i will put her to her brother the banana Yb im thinking if he has the same hets ? And i can get more bananas .
Same here! Actually I'm thinking more and more I got a visual desert ghost on my last clutch, and I think some of these normal hatchlings are 50% het DG!
Wow! These normie snake are as pretty if not more than my silver-ish Red Axanthic, Argyle, , coral cow highway, blue eyed Lucy" , Orange Dreamsicle, ect ect.
This thought just hit me and I wonder if anyone ever thought this... Is normal the only morph that cant get super from breeding two normals?... Ive never heard of a super normal lol Sounds possible tho but idk enough yet about the hobby but I thought its a good question.
@@ReaperessRogue BELs are gorgeous. I had a BEL Texas rat snake for almost 20 years. He was so cute. He had the bug eyes, common for that morph at the time (largely bred out now). His name was Luke. (Jan Griffiths).
normals are beautiful especially when you see them in person they are were it all started from ,its very easy to get seduced by all the morphs though !!!!!!!!!!!!
One of our ball pythons is a normal and I love her... Normals are so underrated.
They really are!

That is awesome!
Love normals, my normal girl is the brightest normal I've ever ever seen she's awesome
Awesome!
I liked baby "Zucchini '" lots of curious tongue flicks.
It shows signs of a happy positive personality.
He is a happy little guy!

Sweet!
@r laze I love the dark ones. I have one too. Her name is Shirley. (Jan Griffiths).

Hi Chris...nice video..love the triple Het Albino/Pied/Clown..normal like the color of the pattern ..but really love the background of the first one
They are pretty cool!
Looks like you got a nice chunk of property. You should build a snake house and keep expanding.
I'm thinking the same thing!

Very true!

Yes they are!
Shirley also has a "muddy" belly. Laverne's is clear. (Jan Griffiths).

@@chesterswingjr9796 Yeah, especially if they are proven breeders. A good breeder female is worth her weight in gold. (Jan Griffiths).
Those babies are so cute...
Great awesome video. I want a Coral Glow or or a Pied Normal??
I should have some coral glows in about two months! LOL
I want an Ultramel. I have a possible het for pied (has the train track markings near the tail) that I'm going to try to prove out this next season. (Jan Griffiths).
Very nice pythons. Best wishes from germany.
Thanks, you too!
Hey I think I have the same snake shown at the end

No, a normal is basically a blank slate with no genes at all. Can't be het for normal or get a super.
I love my normal “KOBE”
Awesome!
I have a normal with alot of belly pattern too. Hubby is hoping for something more but doubtful
I hope so too!
Never know until you breed him/her. Best of luck. You may get something awesome. (Jan Griffiths).
And is tru. Always the normal bp can be awesome. Cheers Chris from tx 👍👍

I like Dinker Projects, especially the African Imports. My favorite normals are the ones that have the hets I want
Dinkers are awesome!
I've never heard the term dinker before. What is that?
I did a video on that awhile ago, check it out! th-cam.com/video/-cts15Kr7tU/w-d-xo.html

Nope, can't have a super normal. It's basically a blank slate with no genes.
@@ChrisHardwickanimaladventures Interesting. My first project is going to be Lesser and Bamboo so I can get a all white blue eyed python.
Normal is the holotype. There would be no genes for morphs. Morphs are mutations. (Jan Griffiths).
