- In this video I show you my collection of Christmas teapots. We have 12 Christmas teapots at this time. Each one is uniquely different and beautiful in their own way. We have examples of Lenox, Fitz and Floyd, Burton among other makers and this includes vintage to current. Some teapots were purchased at Hobby Lobby and some purchased from Wayfair last year. This teapot collection is growing like all of our collections and we just love it. What a beautiful unique collection of teapots! My favorite is the first pot....the Santa from Angela. Santa's are always my favorites as my Jay dressed for years to play Santa at his work and for kids Christmas parties. He was adored and is still remembered for it. His father before him played Santa for years in his hometown of Li ma, Ohio. Our two boys enjoy playing Santa occasionally too. We must always keep the child's Christmas spirit alive in us all. The magic of Christmas!! Love the teapots! 🎄❤🍭🎅🤶🤶

And, I agree..collectors don’t care about others’ opinions..they care about the beauty or design that the collectible represents. It’s an art form, I would suggest.

I adore the Fitz and Floyd Santa at the end due to all the detail. In the 90's I once went to a Fitz and Floyd store in Kansas City while on vacation. Holy Moley....such good quality stuff. I didn't know where to look. Every piece was gorgeous.

Love ALL the teapots! I have 5 Christmas ones in my bigger teapot collection. I need more Christmas ones too! LOL! I agree that they are collectables for display. If they're used they get stained and chipped, so we reserve one for use.

I have collected teapots for years. I started when my Mom gave me her Grandmother’s teapot and plates. One of my daughter’s lived in England for many years and I bought many beautiful teapots over there and I was very lucky to inherit a couple vintage ones from older friends. I just love that beautiful Santa teapot and that green/white one with the bow, lucky you. I really love your posts, you are a fun guy.

Wow Jeff, that Fitz and Floyd teapot at the end is a complete work of art. My favorite. The Lenox Santa teapot with the foot spout was a close second. I really like the holly on that one. Reminds me of the Lenox Holiday pattern china which I have always wanted a dinner service of. What a beautiful collection!!!!!! Have a really nice weekend you two. :)

Omg I never heard the story about Austrias birth and the teapots. Angela found a way to get Xmas even while having a baby! The teapots are amazing👏. Of course I love the rocking horse teapots, but when you showed the green one I feel in love. Until, the Nordic santa and the last one Angela got you last year. Another Beautiful Collection 💯! Loved the🤰 "Christmas baby" Santa , that Angela got you, & the exquisite FF Santa. 🎅 Your descriptions are so effective because, you share your personal memories. People are born with certain talents, and I think collecting is a special talent. You so eloquently described the "heart" of a collector, & why we are so passionate about it.💖💫 My passion is antique, dark wood furniture, old clear, crystal stemware, wine decanters, & brilliant cut pieces. Some people rescue animals from the shelters. I rescue antiques, crystal, & collectibles, so they don't end up in the bins or the landfills. 🤦
