Bring back fond memories! Mom used to steam ground pork with slivers of ginger and shrimp paste (hommah). She also cooked with fermented soy beans in her dishes. I also remembered steamed cabbage with dried baby shrimp(ha mai). You are getting closer to where I am currently living!😊

Back in 1980 ,china was poor ,life was much harder ,but however my grandmother and my mom already in the united states ,my cousin volunteer sponsor our family came to America one ,he's acting as being nice do us favor,on the hand ,he needs help on his farming ,it was mutual benefits ,til this day I always show my appreciation, he is now at age of 92 or 93,the second reason ,is too personal ,I can't disclose it
My cousins are farmers, he volunteer sponsors my families ,immigrated to united state, beside ,was poor country, lots people are starving, it was considered impoverished during those times, so everyone able to go overseas it was blessing
