FOX5 SURPRISE SQUAD: A Mother Paralyzed After Tragic Accident Receives Life Changing Gift

Two days before her birthday, 31 year old Ganine Quinones was driving with her 11 year old son, when they were struck by a speeding vehicle in Las Vegas. The driver fled the scene and Ganine was left paralyzed and fighting for her life.
Her son suffered only minor injuries but his pain runs deep. His mother may never walk again, unless she receives a quick assistance.
Sadly, this was not the first tragedy her family faced in 2019. Just months earlier, a fatal car accident in Colorado claimed the life of her brother and left her mother severely injured.
With so much worry in their hearts, and no where to turn but the community, a co-worker reaches out to the FOX5 Surprise Squad with a desperate plea for help.
